We enjoyed our stay. There were things to do at the resort and you didn't have to leave at all. The bed in the master bedroom wasn't great, but we managed.

Wonderful Place!

Anthony was super helpful and responsive. The condo has a lot of rules at the pool which is kind of hard when you have little kids that want to play with toys, ball, floats but that’s not the owners fault at all, that’s the condos rules. The condo itself was amazing and exactly as described. We had an amazing time and will definetly be back!!

Great stay

we had a wonderful time in Panama City. What minor issues we had with the condo were taken care of immediately. Would stay again, but we always stay at different spots along the Gulf Coast.

Very Disappointed

This Resort is a wonderful place to stay for families. However, this unit was very dirty (handprints on the walls, half used soap in the bathroom, furniture smelled awful, floors were dirty) We had to cover the couch and chair in the living room due to the condition the furniture was in. There were numerous handprints all over the walls and half used soap was left in our bathroom. The master bathroom had no drain in the tub. The pictures were not accurate for this rental. We have stayed at this resort for five years and have never been so disappointed. We contacted the owners regarding our concerns about the cleanliness of the rental and received no response. Would not recommend this rental.

All in all a great place to stay

The condo was nice and the view was GREAT!. Only a few things that need to be addressed…. The pots and pans were very old and worn…. need replacing, the coffee table was broken when we arrived, the sofa was worn out which means the bed in the sofa was not comfortable at all. The T.V. In the living room was non operational because of some sort of parental codes placed on the t.v….. the owner of the this condo was unaware of a code and could not help with it. Other than those few things the condo was very very clean. The owners were very easy to communicate with and were very accommodating to us. Our vacation was awesome and we love ❤️ PCB!

We love Splash but think it’s time to move on

We have been staying at Splash for the past 8 years now and keep coming back because we love the location. Our kids are older now (8 & 14) and I think we have outgrown Splash Resort in general. It was terribly crowded, but it was the week before the 4th so that was to be expected. As far as the condo itself, it was very clean when we arrived and no issues there. Everything worked as it should - only complaint was how hard the door was to slide open and close to the balcony. Communication with the owner was great up until checkin, we drove 8 hours and got there around 2 and messaged him asking about checking in early and he said he would let us know if it was available before 4:00 and we never heard anything else back. Luckily, we walked up to check the code anyways and it worked! The room was ready, but we would have been disappointed if we wouldn’t have checked for ourselves knowing we could have been getting our stuff settled in the room. Elevators were slow during checkin / checkout times but we have seen much worse(The Wharf). I will add that I think it’s time that Splash does some updating…I don’t understand why there is not a ramp at the beach access for the 50 million people that tote wagons and have to pull them down the stairs. Every guest there has children which means they have a ton of stuff to take down. Oh and another opinion, the new beach chair rentals suck…but that’s out of anyones control. They are hard to adjust, no cushion and are way too close together. I missed the wooden chairs with the cushions for sure and was worth the $50 that we paid for ahead of time, but wouldn’t recommend paying full price for a set. Overall we had a good stay. Got to watch dolphins from the balcony the first few mornings, manatee swam right under my husband while we were in the ocean and almost caused a heart attack but was a neat experience, attended the Gulf World Marine Institute sea turtle release for Kite the turtle which was awesome. We didn’t make it to shell island because of the storms so we were disappointed about that and that our parasailing trip got cancelled because of weather as well but we all know the weather is unpredictable in FL!

Great time

The resort has a good parking garage. The hotel elevators are good but during high traffic times you will have to wait still good. The pool is the attraction that you little ones will have the most fun full of young kids. Worked out great for my 7 year old who never had to look for long to find a kid to play with.

Misled

Not a happy camper. Got there and discovered the ice maker did not work, called maintenance and they said give it a couple of hours and call back. I knew it wasn’t working but did as they asked. It was 10:30 before the serviceman finished replacing the icemaker. Furniture in the pictures and what was actually in the condo were totally different. Couch was old and squeaked when you sat down on it. Couched was all scuffed up on the bottom. Stools to the table had the laminate peeling off. The extra chair was old and warn out. Walls badly scuffed up. Bathtub still does not have a stopper. (As noted by prior reviews). Outside furniture is rusted and part of one leg was missing. The outside electrical outlet had not cover over the plugs. There is an electrical box that is open. Three electrical outlets have drywall paste coming out from the sides. Sliding glass door needs work, it is hard to open and squeaks very bad when you close it. Over all the unit needs some major up keep. Based on the overall appearance of the unit, we were grossly over charged. Like everyone else has said the everyone said, the elevators were really slow. One kept getting stuck.

Great place for the whole family

Our stay was fantastic! The condo had plenty of room for everyone in our group, and the toddler splash pad downstairs was perfect for our 7 month old son. There were a couple of inconveniences with the pocket door for the on suite bathroom being broken and not closing all the way and there wasn't a drain stopper for the bathtub so we had to improvise when giving our son a bath. There also wasn't a broom in the condo to sweep the floors so we purchased one to leave in the condo for future guests. Nonetheless, we still had a great stay and it was amazing to see our son's reaction to seeing the ocean and sand for the first time. I would recommend staying at Splash to anyone with younger children seeing as there is so much for them to do whether it's on the beach or at the splash pad or lazy river. We will definitely be staying here again in the near future!

Amazing Location

We unknowingly booked on bike week, but the location of this property was perfect as it was far away from all of the commotion. The owners were awesome with communicating, and it was very clean. 10/10 would stay here again.

Good stay

Great location. The furniture could stand to be updated, the couch was a little ick and very broken down. The vacuum didn’t work at all on the hardwood floors, a broom and dust pan would have been very helpful. We had a good time though.

Family Vacation Spot!

This property was excellent to stay in with children! The bunks worked perfect for our kids. All beds were super comfortable. We loved the views from the balcony and overall everything was very nice. There were a few spots on the walls that were dirty, the floor was cracked in one spot (but I did see new flooring in the unit I am sure they plan to fix that with), the coffee table was a little unsteady, and the bathtub drain was broken (there was also no plug to plug the tub for our littles). But, the pools were amazing, especially if you have a 1 or 2 year old. The beach access was also perfect with kids! And I would highly recommend renting the beach chairs! Overall I can say that we really enjoyed staying and all of those things are stuff I am sure every renter deals with from renting so much! We will definitely stay again! Overall a Great Stay

This was my first visit with this owner, but third visit to Splash. The staff was all very helpful and friendly and the splash pad, pool, and lazy river fun as always. The master bed and bathroom were spacious, and the king size bed and bunk beds were super comfy! When a good night’s sleep can make all the difference in a vacation, that carried a lot of weight for us. The unit needed a little maintenance and update as a sliding door handle and a toilet handle were broken, the garbage disposal didn’t work, and the pull out couch was very worn. There was also sand on the floor when we arrived, so whoever cleaned the unit previously wasn’t very thorough. We still had everything we needed, were comfortable, and had a fun trip. Additionally, the beach chairs and umbrella rental was included in the room rate. This was a very convenient bonus.

The Room was nice Over All. The Patio Furniture was Old and Rusty. There Were not Enough Bed Covers. The Room was Clean, but Under the Bed and Dressers were Filthy. The View Was Great. The Code to get into the Room is Way to Many Numbers. You need to be a Rocket Scientist to Memorize the Door Code. I Explained the Situation to the Owner and He wasn't very Helpful about the code, Covers and Cleanness.

Loved this place!! Great place for families. Our room was nice and clean.

Loved that there was an Alvin’s island down stairs to get all the last minute beach accessories. Everything was clean and nice. Everyone was friendly as well. Highly recommend!
