It was my first time at the Waymore hotel. I enjoyed the the accommodating nature of the staff and the hospitality the most. I arrived very way before checkin and they were able to check me in for a discounted rate. I also loved the food.

This hotel is newly renovated with a great casino and pool area; however, the rooms are subpar. Upon arrival, our first room was missing a lamp and was not clean. We moved to a second room where the bathroom door didn’t close and the room was still dirty. Blood stains on the walls, hair, dust and other particles all over room and bathroom. I would come back for the casino but not to actually stay there.

A man tried kicking down the door to one of my rooms after 11pm, trying to call front desk for assistance was unsuccessful, after calling other family members who was also staying at the hotel had to reach out to front desk. Security showed up about 15 minutes later and was told the matter is being investigated and front desk would reach out to us, no one reach out to us, i went to front desk as no one reached out to us, was told police will be meeting with the manger in the afternoon, i went back to front desk and was told the man was drunk and he was asked to leave the hotel, we were given $120 for breaking up our night sleep for one night which was the penalty for the man to pay but we have not slept another night in that hotel, and this man was still in the hotel......no apology nor nothing from management

Whwn going to excursions early in the morning,which you will miss breakfast, you can let the front desk know the night before and they will prepare a package for you to go with

Really nice place. Great rooms, clean, nice pool & workout facility. Decent restaurant but kind of expensive by Panama Standards. Not many other dining options nearby. Good included breakfast though!

Beim Frühstück Buffet gibt’s definitiv noch Luft nach oben. Z.b. Müesli, Vollkornbrot und Joghurt anbieten wäre schön. Auch gabs nicht immer Butter und Konfitüre. Diese Ergänzungen kämen sicherlich gut an, und würden dem ansonsten hohen Standard des Hotels gerecht.

Updated hotel since it used to be the Veneto. Beautiful large lobby. Rooms are not funky and new-looking but perfectly clean and nice. Well functioning bathroom and nice toiletries. No noise when we stayed there for one night. All staff very helpful. We wanted to play pool but the table is situated in an extremely awkward place by a lot of poker tables. There was a tournament on so maybe when there isn't some tables will be moved. Otherwise if you like to play pool you may find it difficult. Breakfast was a little disappointing. Good range of cold foods but the hot foods were not hot and the waffles were like cardboard. Hotel is located in a downtown area of the city. Real Panama. Many restaurants, bars, casinos and shops within walking distance. We felt very safe and would stay there again. We've lived in Panama for 15 years so we know the good and the bad!

This hotel was excellent, and it's also close to may stores that are in walking distance. The hotel looks very elegant with the casino. They also have a nice breakfast set up. The only thing i did not like was the friedge, it does not cool, everything else was amazing. Checking in and out was a very simple process.

I loved my stay at this hotel. I stayed at this location when it was the Veneto over 12 years ago, & it wasn’t very good for a number of reasons. I am so glad to report that The Waymore is now my favorite hotel in Panama City & I’ve been going to Panama City 1-2xs a year for over 20 years. The location near the metro, good restaurants, markets, Via Argentina (& all it has to offer) are huge advantages. The staff was extremely courteous & spoke English well. The room was spectacular (a junior suite at a bargain price). The shower alone would make the room exceptional. The cleaning staff was always nearby & willing to help make the stay better. Then there was the exceptional buffet breakfast which featured lots of fresh fruit, pastries, Panamanian specialties, as well as excellent bread, cheeses, & deli meats. The pool and pool area are also inviting & well maintained. I can only say good things about this hotel. I’ll definitely return in April.

The room was clean and well appointed. The food was exceptional. The casino was fun and run very well. I didn't even look at the fitness room or the pool. Things run a little slowly, but that's more of the Panamanian pace than the fault of the hotel. Using the hotel's taxi service is a little pricey. I would stay here any time I have to travel to Panama City.
