“Great private location, quiet and beautiful place to relax but close to activities. We cooked most of our meals there in the little kitchen which provided most of the essentials. The washer and dryer was perfect for our week stay. The room stayed cool with the extra fans. We definitelywill be returning. ”

“We loved this stay. Every detail of the room was perfect. Location was great for access to Hilo, Akaka Falls, Mauna Kea and Volcanoes National Park. The host was welcoming and had a great list of restaurants and things to do. Not sure if we will be lucky enough to return to Hilo in the future, but we would absolutely stay here again if we do.”

“For our purpose this stop was wonderful. The two hosts are as good as it gets and the setting and the room is so much better than any resort, etc. Super peaceful and beautiful! I'll list the cons: the bathroom oddities as noted by others, and there is nowhere that is "desk-like" to put a laptop. These "cons" didn't apply to us - we loved it! Did I mention the cacao tree?”
