“Staff were fantastic making many local travel arrangement for us and advising where to eat and get local provisions. Location is great, in the hub but not too noisy. We were a party of 4, staying 3 nights and we would recomend this hotel highly for the price.”

“The room was beautiful and very clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond expectations! The dining hall food was delicious and very generous. The manager was extra helpful with showing me where to exchange currency and buying a converter plug for my American phone and computer. I will be staying here agin! “A beautiful character building with a lot of charm. Choosing a balcony suite at the front is totally worth it. The hotel staff were neither friendly nor rude but just came across as indifferent but not what I’m used to when dealing with hospitality employees. But then mostly everyone I interacted in Pondicherry seemed like that so it must be a regional thing. There was no daily housekeeping which also seemed odd. Despite these things, I would stay here again solely for the charm of the building...
