“This was the most incredible place we’ve ever stayed! It was so incredibly unique from the history of the place to how modern it was inside and our very own cherry blossom tree outside our window. I can’t express how wonderful this place is! The service is impeccable and the dining is incredible. So luxurious and unique, I would stay here again and again! We stayed in the largest villa called Seguro, highly recommend!!!!”

“Everything was beautiful! The Koi pond was one of the biggest highlights. The staff was incredibly helpful, even to English speaking visitors. The area was beautiful and quaint. This was a wonderful way to wind down after 10 days of nonstop walking and traveling across Japan!”

“We had a really lovely stay here. We felt totally immersed in the atmosphere of a traditional Japanese Ryokan. The food was both delicious and always beautifully presented. We are really glad that we made this stop as part of our travels around Japan. Mount Fuji was mostly covered in isolated low level cloud, but we did get a gorgeous view once or twice. “The room was beautiful with a patio that overlooked the lush hillside. The dining area was pleasant and the food was good. The onsen, however, could stand some refurbishment. The hotel advertises late checkout but I was told that 11:00 am constitutes late checkout. This seems like a bit of a scam to me. Made my departure more rushed than a I planned for it to be.”

“I found out about this place from Love Live Sunshine. The hotel is on island so you have to get to it by boat (hotel takes care of this for you) is very cool. It adds an extra step, but it’s worth it. The room had a great view of Mt. Fuji across the ocean. The Japanese restaurant was amazing! The hotel staff were nice and helpful. The Love Live room was a nice touch. ”
