“This was our first time staying at a hotel that wasn't staffed. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The accommodations were very modern. Plenty of hot water. Easy access to both train and bus stations. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants and grocery stores. Quiet. We didn't hear street noise. Stairs are steep, as others have noted. “We had a lovely relaxing stay at a fantastic property in a beautiful part of the world. Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was very spacious and beautifully decorated with a small patio outside to chill. Food was great and we will certainly be returning.”

“Our room was excellent - recently decorated with good facilities - our only problem was with the shower (no instructions). We had an evening meal which was very well presented. No breakfast available but there are coffee shops and cafes in the village. The staff were very helpful. We would happily stay here again.”

“We had a fantastic stay at the butchers arms. They were very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with another hotel and Andrew and his team couldn’t do enough for us. What a lovely place to stay.
