We were supposed to stay here for 4 nights. Property manager notified us one day prior to travel that they overbooked our rental and offered another rental for two nights and then this property for the remaining two nights. It was that option or a refund. How would we be able to look for another property in that short amount of time? We took that option and asked for 10% compensation for the inconvenience. They agreed but have yet to compensate us. They also failed to tell us that we needed to check out from the first property by 11 am and cannot check into the second property until 3pm. So our whole family (14 of us) was displaced for several hours. It was difficult communicating with them about checking out times and what to do with our luggages. This arrangement made our trip more stressful and disrupted our plans that day. When they offered us a different property for the first two days, we assumed we’d have that property the full time until we could check into the next property. They did not tell us about check out at 11 am until the day before. This made things very difficult especially when you have little ones who needed naptime. The second property has roaches, especially in the dishwasher. We notified property management about it but they have not responded.
