Es ist eine sehr schöne Wohnung in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet mit direkter Anbindung über die Bahn ins Zentrum von Paris. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, die Kommunikation war sehr gut. Einkaufs-/ und Parkmöglichkeiten in direkter Umgebung vorhanden.

Appartement convivial et chaleureux. Avec la station du RER à deux pas, on accède au cœur de Paris en 15 min. Un marché public se tient deux fois semaine derrière la station: un «must»!

Perfect location!

The apartment was well laid-out with everything we needed, including a lovely balcony looking out on green trees, not another building. Agnes was fantastic at communication via text and even left us milk, coffee, butter and jam for breakfast. The location could not have been better - a two-minute walk to the RER-A, an award-winning boulangerie and small grocery store. It was also next to the Bois de Vincennes, a lovely park with the only medieval castle in Paris just a 30 minute walk in the woods away. Because it is on the top floor, expect it to be hot during the summer. The shutters helped a lot but another two fans would have been very welcome. The only thing that was disappointing was that it is listed as having a pool. Our kids were really looking forward to swimming as we knew it would be hot. I would definitely take that off the listing. I would definitely stay there again, however.

Lovely apartment

The two bedroom apartment was lovely. Agnes responded quickly to our questions. She also periodically sent a text to ensure all was going well. The location was perfect for us. It was a couple minutes walk to the train station. A quick ride took us to the central Paris or to Disney.

Excellent choice

Fontenay-Sous-Bois RER train station and convenience store (which sells gluten free bread and dairy free milk) are both just two minutes walk away from the apartment. Host responded very promptly to all our questions via text. Language was not a problem thanks to Google Translate. Nice and quiet neighborhood. The timer on the microwave did not work well at higher times and the inside had a strong fishy smell. A toaster or better still a small toaster oven would have been nice to use. When checking in make sure you ask about trash removal (only small trash bags will fit in the small trash shaft outside the apartment), unlocking the front door (practice opening the door during check in), and using the conduction stove top (if you have never used one). Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others.

Great apartment in a great location.

This is a wonderful apartment! We truly enjoyed our stay!! RER is right across the street, so very convenient. Be aware, the ad says breakfast, but there is not. Also our host was a wonderful lady, but she does not speak english, so the ad is incorrect there as well. I would choose this place again!!

Lovely Spot with Great Access

We stayed in Fontenay-sous-bois for four days in late August and loved our stay. Access is fantastic with this accommodation as it is mere steps away from the train station, a small grocery store a fantastic boulangerie and the Bois de Vincennes. The place is very well appointed and supplied with much more than just the basics (appreciated having access to laundry after 3 weeks on vacation!). It has a very comfortable, homey feel. Our host, Agnès, was very responsive and helpful. If you're looking for accommodation with great access to central Paris but with a quieter feel, I'd highly recommend this property!

Peaceful neighbourhood

If you’re looking for a peaceful, homely stay with easy access to Paris - this is the apartment for you. Madamme Agnes provides a spacious apartment with all the comforts right by the RER A line. Despite being right by the train you can’t hear it and the outlook is lush and green. You get comfortable beds, kitchen, washing facilities, wifi, and fans. The Vincennes forest is just down the road and great for walks and runs.

Nice stay for the Olympics

We stayed as a family for a week for the Olympics. The location was great, really close to the RER station and also the park. There is a boulangerie close by which was very handy. The milk and breakfast bits the host provided were a nice touch.

Super Wohnung

Die Wohnung liegt super. In der Nähe gibt es eine leckere Bäckerei und einen kleinen Supermarkt. 2x die Woche ist auch ein Markt in der Nähe. Wir fühlten uns zu dritt sehr wohl in der Wohnung. Es ist eine ruhige und gepflegte Wohngegend. Jederzeit würden wir wiederkommen.

PERFECT!!

We wanted a Paris vacation with a bit more hometown atmosphere. The location is literally a minute walk to the RER A line which takes you to anywhere you want to go. It’s a wonderful place to stay. Clean. Beautiful patio. Friendly neighborhood with great stores. Oh and an elevator! Everything that we could have asked for and more. 10/10

Tolles Apartment!! Sehr zu empfehlen!!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in einem sehr schönen, liebevoll eingerichtetem Apartment. Die Lage ist super (ruhig, RER direkt vor der Tür, aber nur ganz wenig zuhören, Bäckerei und Supermarkt 3min zu Fuß, in das Zentrum in 10min mit RER, zu Eurodisney in 30min mit RER). Im Apartment alles was man braucht! Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin ist super, alles toll organisiert und immer bei Fragen erreichbar. Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt und können das Appartement nur empfehlen!!

Lovely Apartment, neighborhood, owner

We rented Madame Bernard’s apartment as a gift our college-aged daughter and friend’s ten day Paris vacation. They are studying aboard with their college for the semester and dreamed of spending their spring break in Paris. Paramount to our decision was safety and cleanliness. The apartment is located in a lovely neighborhood, just steps from the Metro, a delicious boulangerie, and markets. The girls simply delighted in the privilege of the stay, feeling as if they were Parisians if only for a week. They felt safe and at home in Madame Bernard’s well appointed, clean, and beautiful apartment. Additionally, Madame Bernard’s communications were always timely, gracious, and helpful. We are very grateful for her hospitality and trust to open her lovely home to the girls. The memories they made in these first real blooms of adulthood will center on her hospitality.

Review of Fontenay sous Bois

Excellent, lovely neighborhood with tall trees lining the street on which the apartment was located and only one block from the Metro station. A neighborhood boulangerie as a block away and a grocery store a ten minute walk from the apartment. A single bed with frame would have improved the sleeping in the second bedroom but the two foam pads were adequate.

I liked the communication from the owner and she was very clear and receptive. The property was clean. One thing I was expecting was free breakfast which was advertised on the website. There was no breakfast. In addition, the property was very hot and only had one fan. The area was convenient and cute.
