Splendido soggiorno, bellissimo appartamento e massima disponibilità del proprietario. Zona ben servita e a soli 10 min a piedi dal Louvre. Location perfetta per muoversi a piedi/ bus/ metro/ bateaux. Non ultimo la vera chicca dell' appartamento sono i due terrazzi che rendono l esperienza parigina indimenticabile! Grazie Pascal

We spent a delightful weekend. The apartment is centrally situated, with easy access to the Metro, walking distance to the Seine, andlots of nearby restaurants and shops. Pascal was a great host. The apartment was wonderful (the view from the roof!). I definitely recommend it.

Excellent location - close to Metro stops and not a far walk to the Louvre, etc. Flat was clean and comfortable. A/C worked great. Building has an elevator which is great since the flat is several floors up on the top floor. However, be aware that the elevator's last stop is one floor below so you'll have to carry your bags up one flight of stairs which wasn't the end of the world. Also, be aware that the elevator is very small and can only fit three people (with no baggage and squeezed in). We did have access to the rooftop deck (it was in the process of being renovated before we came). The rooftop deck views are absolutely amazing - the Eiffel Tower, Montparnasse Tower & Sacre Couer. Great place for sunset wine and cheese! Just be aware that to get to the deck, you have to go up a tight spiral staircase so it might be a challenge for people with mobility issues (or if you've had too much wine). All in all, we enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again in the future.

The location is fantastic. the rooftop is sensational, and will be even better when the chairs and table that are already there, are unwrapped and available for use. But if you're planning on sleeping up to 8 people, as the property states, be aware that there will be no privacy and no protection from light for 4 of those sleepers. Curtains and window treatments are not in place for the 3rd bedroom, or the lounge area. There is a toolkit on site. That's handy; because we had to tighten chair legs and benches for safety. Drawers in both the kitchen and bathroom are quite rickety. Fortunately, they held out for the 2 weeks we were there. It's a great apartment, but it would benefit from some attention to detail and basic instructions for the users about the appliances, heating and AC. would we return? You bet. But we'd ask more questions next time.

The owner reached out to us on Fri 7/11 (our stay started on Wed 7/16) to inform us that the upstairs bedroom, bathroom and terrace would be "unavailable" during our stay. When we got there and peeked upstairs, it turns out the entire bedroom was demolished and the outside deck had been ripped up. We specifically booked this rental because we wanted the views of the city from the rooftop and because we're a family of 5 and needed the 3rd bedroom. Because the owner protected his own interests/income (by letting us know about the construction less than a week in advance) I had no time to re-book to a more suitable rental so we were stuck. If you look at the pics I attached - there is no way the owner didn't know WEEKS in advance that the rental would not be in 100% working condition. Due to the construction, there were workers on the roof and outside our windows using power tools starting at 6:30 / 7AM each day. My son also had to sleep on the couch all week; not a crisis but it certainly stung when we paid a serious premium for this property. Additionally we did a load of laundry on 7/19 and the washing machine wouldn't unlock. It took the owner longer than the rest of our stay (we left 7/25) to remediate the issue.The owner offered us 20% back - but it was off what he was paid, not what we were paid so we actually got 13% back. Once construction is done this rental will be great; but if you're going in summer/fall 2025 I would reach out to know what you're getting into.

We booked our stay a year before the trip. We loved the pictures of the rooftop! It was our main reason for choosing this home. Unfortunately a month before our trip the host informed us that the roof would not be useable because it was under construction. He was generous to offer us a small discount and a smaller apartment on the same floor. When we arrived there was scaffolding right outside the windows and the entrance to the roof (& upper floor) were only closed off by a tarp. The biggest issue by far was being woken up to very loud construction almost every morning of our trip as well as having workers directly outside our window offering very little to no privacy (especially for our guest who was sleeping on the sofa couch). We also had to have workers in the apartment multiple times on the trip. Our host was very friendly and welcoming and we appreciate the discount/extra room provided but this was clearly not a time that the home should have been rented out. When the construction is completed we’re sure that the place would be perfect (we might even stay again) unfortunately for our trip the apartments really should not have been rented out for guests. Check out time says 1pm on the app and a cleaning person arrived at 10am and said it was check out time. We were able to quickly pack our things but it was an issue. We appreciate our host and the lovely place I’m sure the home will be when the construction is finished but our personal stay was unfortunately not ideal.

Great Location, Helpful Host – Some Disruption Due to Construction

We had a mostly enjoyable stay at this centrally located Paris apartment. The owner was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.Due to ongoing construction in the building, we were informed just a week before arrival that one of the bedrooms and the rooftop patio would be off-limits — disappointing given we had booked 12 months in advance. The rooftop in particular seemed to be a highlight for other guests in past reviews, so it was unfortunate not to be able to access it. To accommodate the reduced space, the owner arranged access to the apartment next door, which addressed the issue.The construction was quite noisy during the day, and one night someone climbed the scaffolding, but the owner responded quickly and ensured it was secured.The air conditioning in the bedrooms was excellent during a hot week, and we were able to drop our luggage early, which was a big help. The ceilings are quite low, especially for taller guests, but manageable. The TVs weren’t Smart TVs and some weren’t connected to aerials — not a major issue, but upgrading them would be a nice improvement.Overall, a well-located apartment with strong communication and practical support when issues came up.

Terrible Rental: building under full renovation and construction (April 2025)

me and a group of 4 friends rented this property in October 2024 for a stay March 27 to April 3, 2025. We rented the property for the size, the location (which is great) and for the amazing rooftop patio with the sweeping views of paris. I commuicated with this owner for 6 months prior to our stay and never, NOT ONCE, did he mention that the building was going to be under contruction and full restoration.We arrived excited on March 27th only to see that the ENTIRE building was covered in scaffolding and undergoing restoration. We arrived inside the apartment to find that all windows (except for the glass door to the updstairs deck) was covered in painters paper and taped shut--allowing hardly any natural light to come in. Worse the apartment reeked of paint and turpintine and you couldn't even open the windows to let in natural light or fresh air. The construction noise began each morning bright and early at 7:30 am. Contact banging, drilliing, scraping and you could even hear the contruction works talking and going about their workday. We could not even use the patio during the day because of the smell, noise and constant presense of contruction workers during daylight hours.I could go on and on....but I won't. To discover this upon our arrival was shameful and almost criminal. The owner even admitted in our communication that it was a mistake that he didn't divulge this to me. Great location, ok apartment

Top floor apartment with two double bedrooms, a double sofa bed in the combined lounge / kitchen / dining room, and a double futon in the room added to the roof terrace. The location is great, between Grands Boulevards and Bourse metro stations, with lots of restaurants, small supermarkets and bakeries nearby.The arrival and access information is thorough, you enter through two sets of doors and up a tiny, slow lift for 2-3 people tops (though stairs not steep). We were very disappointed not to have been forewarned about the extensive external building work. It was quite a shock. There was scaffolding up to the level of the roof garden, and between 0800-1600 everyday Monday to Saturday there were workers on and around the windows of the apartment. Since there are no curtains in the lounge this meant they were effectively there with us and on the roof terrace, not very relaxing or private. Luckily we got up early and were out most of the day. This work is likely to last for several weeks. We could not get the bedroom TVs to work, the owner advised via his contact to look at the instruction guide which did not help, so we did without. The shower pressure is weak, common for Paris apartments, and the dishwasher is not very effective. The apartment is surface clean but not in corners, under furniture, remote controls etc. The views from the roof terrace are great but work is required for the summer to make it a nice space. It does not currently look like the pictures.

Paris appt, great but with some surprises

Paschal was a kind and personable host, and the location of the apartment was very good. As Pascal knows well, we did not get the window views shown in the VRBO pictures, due to city-directed building improvements that were not disclosed to us, because they were unknown to him at the time of our booking. The challenges this renovation presented to us (no need to detail) should not be experienced by future guests. But be sure to inquire whether the renovations are completed. We also misunderstood the “sleeps 8” part from the limited pictures showing 3 separate sets of bedding and a loft with a futon. To be clear, there are two bedrooms, a loft with futon, and a very non-private living room couch that can be made into another bed. Eventually, one in our group opted to get his own separate hotel room, as the couch was not private enough. Our last concern is that the pictures seem to show adequate storage, but most of this was occupied by cleaning items and other things, such that we could not truly unpack. The two best points to be sure were the view of the Eiffel Tower from the rooftop (soon to be renovated), and the kind spirit of Pascal. For a group of 4 to 6, when renovations are completed, I would highly recommend.

4 nights in Paris

Great location. Easy check in. Easy to work with manager/owner. Would stay hear again. If you are using the bedroom in the loft you have to be able to climb up a small steep set of spiral stairs. My 21 year old daughter and my wife and I who are in our 50's could do it easily. But if you are elderly and need to get up there, I would not recommend it. The view from the deck was fabulous. I would highly recommend this place.

Grandchildren-you only live twice

This is a very good location for our day trips within Paris. It is quiet at night and the elevator saved grandparent's knees. Comfortable for 8 and roof top view at night gave us our memory picture as the Eiffel tower spot light rotated through the moisture in the air, turning the light into a blue light sabre over the city.

Location, location, location!!!

The location and views for this property cannot be beat! The rooftop view of Eiffel and Sacré Coeur is spectacular! Proximity to passages, Galleria, Louve, and numerous restaurants and bars is a real plus! Owner is very responsive to your needs. Upstairs room and bathroom was so nice for our adult son. We appreciate Pascal and his hospitality!
