Excellent Location
This apartment has been newly renovated and is well done. There were 3 of us and I think 4 would be a bit crowded at times. The location could hardly have been better as it is very close to Metro stops and the one we used had 3 lines running through it. A few minutes walk gets you to the pedestrian street, Rue Montorgueil, with its many restaurants and bars. We ate here most nights and loved the variety and quality.
We did however have several issues that I believe should not have occurred:
- there was little in start-up amenities.
- we could not receive local channels as well as international ones like CNN on the tv. It took 3 visits initiated by the management company before it was finally rectified.
- I had to literally hold down the washing machine while it was on the rinse cycle to stop it from bouncing across the floor and rebounding off the wall. I finally had to shut it down for fear of damage being done. I reported it and a repair man came but could not fix it.
- Instructions that were left for using the apartment amenities were in the form of videos that one downloads onto your phone. Some of these were satisfactory but several had very little or no information at all which proved frustrating.
All of these issues were annoying but manageable. However I believe that what we paid for the unit, they should have been addressed prior to our arrival. Having said that, I would probably rent the unit again due to its excellent location and upgraded interior.
