We had a fantastic stay here and would definitely stay again. It is at the top of a walk-up so we had to carry all our bags but it was worth the trouble. Very smooth processes and communicative host.

I rarely leave a negative review, but the communication here was awful. The host agreed to a 2–3 p.m. check-in before our flight from Vancouver. When we arrived, they first said the cleaner was still working, then said the cleaner had left the key under a filthy mat. There was no key and no one there. The person messaging us seemed to have no idea what was happening, and their explanations felt dishonest. Replies were so slow that, exhausted after our flight, we gave up and returned at 4 p.m. The studio is tiny and the floor was dirty. To be fair, the bed was clean and the kitchen was well equipped.

We had a wonderful stay in this studio apartment. The apartment is very well equipped with a spacious bathroom and compact but well laid out kitchen. The apartment is on the top floor of the building with no elevator but it won’t deter us from staying here again. The apartment is close to Notre Dame Cathedral, with lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The agent responded quickly to all messages and met us at the apartment when we arrived.

Only a block from the Seine! The small room was clean although the carpet under the bed was fairly dingy. The bathroom and kitchen were very clean. It was a hot July week in Paris; no AC but a strong fan was provided. Travellers need to know that the room is 4 floors up a semi-spiral staircase and there is no elevator. Carrying suitcases up and down was awkward, tho' I considered it daily exercise. Unfortunately, my plane got in at 6am and instruction from the host informed that room access couldn't be had until 4pm. Usually I leave my suitcase with the hotel and return when my room is ready. But this is Paris and not a standard style hotel. I worked with the host to have someone meet me at the front door at 3pm. The friendly young woman brought me the code to the front door and the keys to the room. She also carried my suitcase up to the room for which I was grateful. Besides that, the host stayed in communication via phone and offered to help in any way. This room would not be easy for older or disabled individuals. As a single traveller, I would stay again though the "stairmaster" access is challenging.

Non mi è piaciuto: Comunicazione
THE GOOD: Central location, Good bathroom and shower, fans THE MEDIOCRE: Poor kitchen supplies. One wine glass? Storage could have been good but most closets were filled with linens and cleaning supplies. They could have cleaned out at least one closet for guests. THE BAD: EXTREMELY HOT! One could say that is on us for choosing a place without a/c, BAD wifi!! - pretty much useless, AND worst of all communication. The welcome message said to text if we needed anything. As soon as we arrived, we asked if we could borrow a screwdriver for our suitcase. We gave up asking after three days. All we needed was a yes or no. We asked for additional towels and were told no problem. It took “their team” two days to deliver. Remember how hot the apartment is? Fresh towels are a must!! After two days of ridiculous back and forth I asked to connect with a manager. I was told the manager was not available but would contact me later. When I asked later, I was told the manager was sick and would not be in. They advised us of checkout requirements but got the checkout date early by a day. SUMMARY: Would definitely not book again. It might be a good place in winter when it is cooler but be forewarned how uncomfortable the apartment was in September. Cant imagine how bad it would be in summer. Don’t expect follow through with host, or bot, or whomever they had taking care of customer contact. PS. We are seasoned travellers and this is the harshest review we have ever done.
