Ecrin Robespierre - Cosy & Romantic apartment with A/C in historical property

In a building full of history in the heart of Paris, you will stay in the last residence where the famous French revolutionary Robespierre lived at the end of the 18th century.

On the 2nd floor, this comfortable, charming and cozy apartment, retains the charm of this period with its exposed beams and all the modern and high-end comfort of today (Internet, A/C, Wifi, iPod/iPhone station, TV with international channels, DVD, connected speakers, rain shower, etc.).

The apartment, completely renovated, can accommodate up to 4 people + 1 baby.

It is equipped with a beautiful kitchen opening onto a living room with a sofa bed with a comfortable sleeping for 2 people, a decorative fireplace, a large TV screen with all international channels, DVD/CD player, speakers, video games.
The kitchen has a beautiful table that can accommodate 4 people.
The bedroom with a large hotel quality bed (160cm) for two people, is equipped with wardrobe and a desk area with Internet, Wifi connection, and sockets and adapters to easily recharge a computer, tablet, camera...
The luxurious bathroom is equipped with a large rain shower on the ceiling and hand shower, a marble sink and separate toilets.
You will also have a washer-dryer and comfortable heating and air conditioning.

In the fully equipped kitchen (induction hob, dishwasher, Nespresso Original capsules coffee maker, kettle, hood...), tea and coffee will be available upon your arrival.

Ideally located Rue Saint-Honoré in the center of Paris Chic and Luxury, you will have everything nearby for an exceptional stay:
- metro: "Concorde" and "Madeleine" at 150 meters
- restaurants and markets: Restaurants and take-away in the adjacent streets, Terrasses du Marché Saint-Honoré, Monop' supermarket at 300m and open daily until midnight
- museums: Louvre, Orangerie ...
- shopping and luxury: Rue Saint-Honoré, Place Vendôme
- walking around: Jardin des Tuileries, Banks of the Seine, Champs-Elysées

Appartamento arredato con cura e buon gusto! Pulitissimo e con tutto ciò che occorre in una casa! Situato in punto strategico di Parigi. Sono stata 4 giorni con mio marito e i miei due figli e spero di tornarci! Lo consiglio vivamente!

It was thrilling for me, as an avid reader about the French Revolution, to stay in historic lodgings where Robespierre had resided during the last three years of his life (17 July 1791 to 28 July 1794). While the Ecrin Robespierre has everything a twenty-first-century guest would expect in a comfortable modern apartment, the most recent renovation of the space has happily respected its historical character. The exposed wooden beams, the antique mirror and mantelpiece, and the portrait of the Revolutionary leader--all these details quietly reminded us that we were not just visiting the Paris of today but were engaging with the Paris of yesteryear. Not that we felt trapped in a museum. Far from it! After a busy day of sight-seeing and exhibition-viewing and theatre-going, we would come back to the calm of the Ecrin Robespierre and feel at home, in a safe haven, able to relax and enjoy a gourmet treat from nearby Fauchon or an eclair from Strohler. The location of the flat, so close to the Concorde station on Metro Line 1, could hardly be more convenient. The Tuileries Gardens, the Louvre, the Comédie Française--not to mention the luxury shops in the First--were all within easy walking distance. Our hosts, Lucile and Arnaud, were very welcoming. When we first arrived, Arnaud kindly met us at the corner of Rue Saint-Florentin and Rue Saint-Honoré and guided us to the flat. He even carried my suitcase up the spiral staircase and adjusted the heat for us during a cold snap.

Nous avons été très bien accueilli par Arnaud qui nous a aidé à monter nos valises dans l’escalier étroit et a toujours répondu rapidement à nos demandes. L’appartement a beaucoup de charme, est tranquille, confortable et surtout très bien situé pour visiter Paris. Deux stations de métros à moins de 5 minutes de marche et plein de commodités à proximité. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et y retournerons fort probablement.

This apartment is well-equipped with everything one needs for an extended time in Paris. Just steps from Place de la Concorde and three Metro lines, the location made getting around the city very easy. This historic building has a lot of charm. Although it wasn't a problem for us - we're active seniors - I must caution that the staircase would be a challenge for someone with minor mobility issues.

The apartment is in a busy ritzy part of Paris. The latest fashion is in the windows all around you as you walk in. The apartment is clearly a part of history. The kitchen and bath are modern and well equipped, while the living room is quaint. We will remember this apartment whenever we think of Paris. Absolutely loved the property, and it's location to many of the major attractions was wonderful. A nearby metro made getting all over incredibly simple as well. The host met us and was so incredibly gracious, we couldn't have been more pleased. There are only two negatives about the experience for us, and they are truly minor. The stairs up and down are incredibly narrow. It's part of the charm. The area it was in, while close to things like the Louvre, is also highly commercialized, and does not have the charm of other arrondissements you'll find, but that is completely to your personal preference.The history and charm of this location, it's cleanliness, the hosts accommodations all make this a place worth staying!

Great location

Perfect place to be in the heart of everything and 3 Metro stations close by. Everything was as presented on Vrbo, help with the luggage was very appreciated. Old, wooden circular stairs to apartment could be a problem but lots of railings make it work. They can be exhausting at the end of a long day but add to the charm.

One bedroom apartment in the center of Paris

My husband, son and I spent 5 nights in this apartment. It is in great location, at the center of Paris. The apartment is old but well equipped, with everything you need. Since there are 3 of us, my son slept in the sofa bed in leaving room. The door of the bedroom cannot be fully closed, which is bit disappointing, because my son snores and we could hear him clearly in the bedroom. I asked the owner before booking if there is a door separating the bedroom and the living area. Guess I should’ve been more specific by asking if there is fully closed door. Since the it is a small apartment, we had to pass the living area on the way to bathroom. It had awakened my son at night. It’s my oversight.I just wanted to say this is a great apartment for 2 people, not 3. Despite the little flaw, we had enjoyed our time in Paris. The host Lucile is very responsive too. Thank you.

Super Woche in Paris

Die Wohnung liegt sehr zentral, ca. 100 m in jede Richtung von der Madelaine und dem Place de la Concorde entfernt. Sehr ruhig (Hinterhof) und sehr schön. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Tres Bon!

The location and size proved perfect for a party of two. The kitchen and bath are updated and charming. We very much enjoyed our honeymoon here in the City of Light. Make sure you are hearty enough to scale the steep stairwell with heavy bags in tow.
