First of all, I have reviewed many other stays and they have always been 100% positive, until now. At first glance the apt is very cute, but once you turn on lights and spend a few hours in it you realize there are many many problems. The apartment is not "magificient" as it says in the listing. It is in very poor condition. The living room rug and large glass coffee table shown are non-existent. (There is a small plastic coffee table there now.) The upholstery on the couch is filthy, as is the carpeting in the bedrooms. One of the duvet covers had fresh-appearing blood stains on it. There are large sections of tile missing from the bathroom and kitchen counter. The kitchen faucet sits sideways and is loose, as it the faucet in the bathroom. Every time we used a faucet we feared it would come loose and flood the apt. After specifically asking about noise from the bars in the neighborhood BEFORE our arrival - I had seen them on the map after I was provided with the address - I was told the "double pane windows would be sufficient to keep our noise and not to worry."I have videos of how noisy it is with the windows shut & locked. ALL NIGHT LONG. It only stops when they clean the streets when the sun is coming up. We could not turn on fans to block noise because both fans had broken plugs. In writing the management offered a 20% refund of the total cost, which would have 1260, but on the last day they told me they changed their mind. DON'T RENT THIS APT!
