“It's a great little spot close to many wonderful restaurants and markets in the heart of the historic district. The breakfasts were very good as well. The WiFi is a little slow if you need it for business so bring a backup. My fave part of my stay however, was their hotel mascot, Empanada

13. Hotel Azul de la Plaza
Hotel Azul de la PlazaCentro di Cuenca, 1,4 km da Parque San Blas
9.0 su 10, Meraviglioso, (74 recensioni)
“Let me say Azul is a very cute place. It has a very confident location. They bed is comfy.
At $30 a night you are only a step above a hostel. The listing says the place has soundproofing, however, this is the noisiest place I have ever stayed. Street noise, every step and voice inside the building can be heard. There is a Belgium pub in the square that played loud music until 12:30 am on a Wednesday night. We booked the romantic room and I promise everybody knew about the romance.

9.4 su 10, Eccezionale, (33 recensioni)
“Casa Firenza wasn’t my first choice, but it turned out to be one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had!
We stayed in a beautiful suite overlooking the park and cathedral. The location was unbeatable, and we even enjoyed the city’s horse parade right from our balcony! Breakfast at Bogoli, the rooftop restaurant, came with stunning views of Cuenca. From early check-in to convenient laundry services and impeccable daily housekeeping, everything exceeded our expectations.
But what truly sets...

“It was the worst night of my life
There was a lot of noise during the whole night
I was not able to get any sleep
I was about to leave the hotel at 3am but they were not willing to give me my money back so I stayed that night
The worst part was that when I complained multiple times about the situation they did not do anything about it”
