It was wonderful to have ample space after staying in small hotel rooms just prior to our arrival in Bayeux. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. “The hotel was a chateau which had been completely refurbished about a year ago. Restaurant was great as was the breakfast. However the room we chose was a de lux garden view room but was far from being a garden view it looked over the court yard. The manager did offer to change our room the second night but as we were only there 2 nights I declined but he did treat us to cocktails so no complaints.
