“Very near Capoo cafe. Clean hotel. They allow you do laundry for free which is a plusplusplus for me. Wonderful reception. Have breakfast at the hotel. A lot of hotels nearby have the word "green" in their hotel name, i had some trouble locating this hotel as my taxi driver had misheard me. If you are taking a taxi, please make sure your driver listen well.”

“平日だからか3人１部屋で8,000円以下で予約できました！あまり場所をよく調べていなかったのですが、SOGOのすぐ裏で高鉄台中駅からのバスもすぐ近くにとまります。夜市や台鉄台中駅、宮原眼科方面に行く際のバス乗り場も全て徒歩5分以内で、各方面へバス含めても20〜30分程度で着くため便利はよかったと思います。観光地の多い台鉄台中駅近辺は泊まりやすそうなホテルは多くないですが、どうしても徒歩で観光地にアクセスしたい方はそちら方面がいいかもしれません。すぐバスに乗っていたためこちらのホテルの周りではあまり出歩きませんでした。時間がなく行けませんでしたが、徒歩10分のところに夜市もあるみたいです！ 何よりお部屋が清潔で広々していて、ベッドは台湾旅行中のホテルの中で1番ぐっすり眠れました！シャワールームはちゃんとドアがついているタイプなのも日本人としては最高です。下水の匂いは少しだけします。片言の英語でのやりとりでしたがフロントの方もとても親切でした！ロビーではジュースやコーヒーマシン、お菓子や包子がフリーで楽しめるようになっていてありがたかったです。また台中を訪れる際は有力候補になるホテルです！”

“We really enjoyed our stay at The Splendor and would stay again. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. It's also a short walk to the botanical gardens. Our room was very clean. It's an older hotel so a bit shabby in places. Scuff marks on the walls for example. Also the beds are very hard, but I was told this is typical in that area. Overall a lovely stay though.”

“Pleased with my stay. I found it a bit difficult to communicate with reception due to the language barrier but they insisted on trying to help regardless and when the on duty receptionist didn’t understand, she was resourceful in asking her colleague. I saw quite a few complaints about noise levels..I’m from a big city so maybe I’m just used to it but this didn’t seem any more or less sound proof than the average hotel in a busy urban area. Thanks, Hommies :) ”
