“The rooms were clean and furnishings looked brand new, were stylish and thoughtfully planned. The bed was very comfortable! One reason I booked us at the Steinbeck was its location away from the 101 Hwy. Although there was some street noise overall it was quieter than any other Salinas lodgings I'd stayed in on previous occasions. Occasionally there was noise from the plumbing, perhaps from another room. I will book the Steinbeck Lodge during our next stay in Salinas.”

“Amazing location, but definitely felt the tone of rudeness with the staff at check in when they noticed I had purchased the stay through a 3rd party. The hot tubs where children are allowed are not the ones that face the ocean.”
