“The hotel seems to be designed for couple getaways. As a solo business traveler I felt awkward and was given a room right by the check-in counter. The biggest issue I faced was at checkout when 4-5 staff descended on the room to 'check' it and a couple minutes later a young man came out waving the white bed-sheet showing me a blue marker stain! “The room was very clean and had been recently painted - this was obvious due to the paint splashes on the floor and net curtains. It is also single glazing so even on the 11th floor outside noises can be heard. There is also no international power points or USB ports in the room but the staff were very helpful in getting an adapter for the room. The location is in a residential area so grab / taxi is needed to get to Ipoh’s points of interest. ”
