“The property was perfect for the two of us. We enjoyed using the paddle boards and all of the outside areas. The new, modern finishes were very nice and we felt comfortable at all times including during both sunny days and thunderstorms. The kitchen was furnished with the cookware and utensils we needed. Note to future renters, bring your own toiletries (including soap) and any condiments for cooking (except salt & pepper which is provided). The loon and bald eagle topped our lovely stay. ...

“The stay was amazing. The home was close to all the great things central minnesota has to offer. It was a homey space, and the backyard was stunning. It was peaceful and quiet, nd the lake was very clean. The beach was a huge bonus. Great place. Great area. Even better hosts.”

“We stayed at Feathered Acres relatively last minute (thanks Trisha!!) after making some travel plan changes and we had such a wonderful time. Travelled with mom and my two toddlers and we all had a blast. We stayed in the smaller studio unit the first night and the larger two bedroom unit the second night and both were so cute, thoughtful and comfortable! The studio can easily house 3 adults if needed and had a curtained off area where we stuck our toddler's pack n plays, and is a bit more...

“This is a true gem. Old but updated cabin so you get the best of both worlds. The kids had a blast and this was awesome to have family members out for a day without houses and people right next to you. Storm came through...a bog was floating towards the island. The kids thought that was pretty cool. We will definately be back!”

The yard, beach and dock are outstanding. Sandy was an excellent host, and the home is within easy driving distance of the Minneapolis/St. Paul airport.
