Peaceful Hollow - Peaceful Hollow

  • Peaceful Hollow provides the perfect country solution to your de-stressing needs. Tastefully decorated and built with lots of natural elements such as wood and stone, it provides a charming stay. We have four bedrooms, three have queen beds and one has a bunk bed that is single over double. There are two full bath. The kitchen is well furnished and perfect for cooking those meals when you feel like staying in for the day. The porch offers a lovely view of the farmland that surrounds the house. The house is decorated in a peaceful fashion that makes for a calm and relaxing stay.

    The entrance door is equipped with a Ring doorbell.

    Please do not enter the bank barn, it is not guest-ready and we are not responsible for any injuries that occur with entering the barn.

    If your check-out date falls on a Sunday, we offer free 6:00 PM Sunday checkout. It's our way of saying thank you.



    IMPORTANT INFORMATION:

    - We kindly ask that there are no fireworks, loud music, or rowdy behavior.

    - Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM.

    - We charge a $50 fee per pet.

    - Kindly remember to clean up after your dog by picking up any feces before your departure.

    - Please be aware you will be charged 10% of the total trip at booking and the remaining 90% will be charged to the card on file, thirty days before check-in.

Historically accurate.

Beautiful property the hand hewn beams on the roof make this building a keeper. The history is quite interesting and the overall rustic feel gives me colonial vibes all while inviting modernity.

Truly PEACEFUL! Our small family gathered to spend time together. We were able to reconnect and relax as nowhere else and never before. The house was accommodating and comfortable. We stayed at Peaceful Hollow for my son's Hampstead, Md wedding. The house was immaculately clean and comfortable for everyone. The location was perfect for us. It is truly peaceful and the country setting is beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed the rest and the property.

Wedding weekend

A group of us stayed at this home for our friends wedding weekend and it was perfect. Such a cute place for us all to hang and catchup with plenty of space, wonderful beds, and the ability to spread out if we needed space and get ready together and just be with one another for the weekend.

Secluded farm house weekend

Great weekend at the house. It was very clean and comfortable. Check in and check out we’re very easy. Great screened in porch for drinking coffee in the morning. Highly recommend!

Great for a long weekend

Me and my bridal party stayed here for my wedding weekend. We were so excited to find this spot so close to our venue! The property is a beautiful historic house but is renovated and nicely furnished/equipped with everything we needed for the weekend. Perfect for a quiet getaway with family and friends. Hosts were communicative and easy to get in touch with.

Amazing Stay

The house and property are beautiful. Full amenities from olive oil, coffee, ziplock bags and sharp knives in the kitchen to qtips, hair dryer and shampoo/conditioner/body wash in the bathrooms. The host was very responsive and our family had a great time slowing down and spending time outside. Thanks for a great stay!

Wonderful

Our family enjoyed an absolutely lovely stay at peaceful hollow farm in July while visiting DC and Gettysburg. The home had all the necessary amenities, and we especially enjoyed the serenity of sitting on the back porch in the evening, listening to a host of birds in song. Thank you for sharing such a uniquely secluded spot!

Peaceful escape

This lovely farm house provided my family a comforting retreat during a difficult time. We stayed in the farm house and attended a funeral at the local church. The house was a nice calming escape. The grounds were lovely and the house was beautiful. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Peaceful Hollow lived up to its name. Peace and quiet in a beautiful setting. The house was so comfortable, the decor lovely. Kitchen was well appointed. The whole experience had extra touches of care and consideration. We enjoyed our stay there immensely and wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Great disconnect retreat

Beautiful property with plenty of space and privacy. No cell service though for tmobile. Wifi was slow but that may be the statellite internet. Would recommend for a cozy getaway.

Quiet retreat

This home is immaculate. It is lovingly restored. The property allows for tremendous privacy. The only thing to consider - stairs are steep farmhouse steps to get to the bedrooms. We tremendously enjoyed this home.

Agility trial trip

We were traveling for an Agility Trial in Westminster. Had 2 people 4 dogs. Property was perfect for us. Had an ample room for the dogs to play and exercise that is not fully fenced but so far off the road that it was not an issue ( all these dogs have great recalls). House was perfect and very user friendly. Alanna
