“Room was clean, and it is a convenient location for a very low price relative to surrounding options. The breakfast selection was pretty rough, and the dining room had a funky smell. But the room was so cheap we just justified going to a nearby diner for breakfast instead.”

“The interior design of this house is beautiful. The location is fantastic. This was my first trip to Gettysburg and I will definitely return and stay at The Brickhouse again!”

“Great location and large room, downside was no staff on site; we needed to call to get someone from the next door diner to open the door. No welcome or further context. Also no staff when we checked out. Rooms are nice and spacious, the outdoors patio and garden are a great opportunity to relax in, but is current quite empty; if they would make this a bit more cosy and welcoming it would be a lot better.”

“If you'd like to stay next to a highway with a steady stream of big rigs going by from early in the morning until late at night, all using their air brakes to slow down for the roundabout, this is the place for you. Don't think about peace and quiet, there isn't any. This is an ancient building located in the center of traffic. It was a mistake to stay there. We don't recommend it for any reason unless you don't need sleep. Now, the antique nature of the building is "cute" but not practical....

“The room was clean and stocked properly. The complimentary breakfast was good. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. It is in a convenient location. My husband and I enjoyed our stay.”

“ALL the staff were great! The breakfast was awesome. The issues were our room smelled like smoke, I found dog hair in our room, and A LOT of the people staying there had dogs (I thought they were not allowed.) Not a huge issue, but it seemed like the staff took a smoke break every hour!”

“Couldn't check in because I didn't have enough on my card for the deposit and pet fee that was not advertised. I was in a desperate position and I'm sure came off high strung. The front desk person took great joy in telling me how happy he was that I wouldn't get my money back, because I had already paid for the room. I thought I was going to have to sleep in my car, 900 miles from home. Luckily I found a safer hotel.”

“Personale svogliato. Solo al check-in con due operatori ho atteso 20 minuti perchè Lei doveva “sistemare delle carte” e lui non era disponibile. Alla colazione, 15 minuti di attesa per sedersi, entriamo e la sala era quasi vuota. Ho chiesto da bere, me ne sono andato a prendere in cucina. Ho chiesto del latte caldo per i bambini, sono andato a scaldarlo al microonde vicino alla reception. Tutto questo per la modica cifra di 17 $ a persona. Vergognosi. ”
