“The Airstream we were given was quite different from what we thought it would be based on photos. Much older, worn, and out-dated. If I had known it wouldn't be one of the trailers featured in the photos on the website, I would have stayed somewhere else. The community areas were nice, so we spent most of our time there, rather than in the trailer. The view of the Colorado River and easy access to the bike trail also helped to offset our disappointment in the trailer.

“Owner is neglectful of basic maintenance. Closet door was freestanding and not attached to anything and fell over onto my child. Bathroom doorknob was installed backwards resulting in my wife being trapped in the locked bathroom. Bed was improperly assembled and collapsed on my child. Bedroom floor was badly damaged and splintered and resulted in splinters in my child's feet. Front facing windows were missing blinds and exposed our private space to the busy front streets. Dryer was disconnected...

“Right in the heart of downtown Grand Junction within walking distance of plenty of bars and restaurants. Try Cruise Control a couple blocks from hotel for great beer, cocktails and food. Hotel Melrose has been beautifully restored— Lovely sitting area, backyard patio, and a great lounge. We will definitely stay again.”

“Great little independent hotel. I see some other reviews have spoken about the nearby train going by and the thin walls. The train is definitely close, but once I was asleep, I never heard it again. And I never did hear any of my neighbors either, so I guess your mileage may vary.
All in all, a surprisingly spacious room, very clean, with a clean bathroom. The woman at the front desk was very kind and helpful with a great attitude.
No complaints, no notes.”

“La camera era spaziosa, tuttavia nè l’hotel nè la camera stessa esprimevano grande pulizia. All’interno della camera c’erano diverse mosche ed è stato davvero fastidioso. La ragazza mora alla reception è stata molto gentile. Tuttavia l’hotel non prevede la pulizia giornaliera anche per chi soggiornava, come noi, per diverse notti. Sul sito di Expedia risultava il contrario, forse è importante che la struttura ed Expedia verifichino le informazioni che riportano. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Maverick during our trip to Grand Junction for the NJCCA World Series. The hotel was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location was perfect, and the views around the property were beautiful.
One of the highlights of our stay was definitely Devil’s Kitchen. The atmosphere, rooftop views, drinks, and food were all outstanding. Every meal we had there was excellent, and it quickly...

“Overall a nice place to stay. Quiet and clean with helpful staff. The Continental breakfast is adequate but could benefit from more frequent cleaning of counters, tables and equipment between guests. They are supposed to clean your room every 3rd day but I had to ask someone directly on the 5th day to get clean sheets and towels. I stayed a total of 8 nights but when I asked for a late check out I was told I would have to pay an additional fee. Seemed a bit rude.”

“Abbiamo trascorso qui una notte, camera spaziosa e pulita, con moquette a terra.
Due letti Queen comodi e con lenzuola morbidissime.
Bagno piccino, ma pulito. Lavandino in stanza, non in bagno.
Colazione buona: uova strapazzate, pancetta, patate, pancake, succhi di frutta, caffè. Di dolce solo cornflakes e pancake (però erano buoni).
Negativo: insonorizzazione della stanza: non sentivo parlare, ma sentivo tutti quelli che camminavano nell'hotel. Ogni passo uno scricchiolio.”
