Hotel vicino a Pelican State Beach -

“When we arrived the door code was wrong, called several times and after a 7 hour drive and no response for 10-15 min. I hoisted my daughter through an open window. 20 min later I finally got a call back stating Expedia did not get the updated code to me but they did extendmy check out tine by 2 hours to make up for it, thank you. There was food on the carpet, couch and kitchen counters. Cooking pan handle was falling apart. The holes in the walls are distasteful, putty and paint are easy to use...

“The views at this property are spectacular but the unit itself was dirty under all the furniture and we had a rat coming in through the kitchen floor. I wouldn't let a child crawl around there. ”

“Property shows its age location is flawless. Hot water is an issue. Little cozier than we thought. Hot tub was nice but couldn’t keep up with heat and most jets were not working. ”

“Spent just one night there and it was AMAZING. We had the oceanfront room: huge, elegant, clean, and comfortable. Staff is so nice & polite. Breakfast is very good!”

“The owner/manager stayed late, knowing that we were running late. The room was freezing, but, that was the weather. It was clean ,quaint and what we needed after the long 13 hour drive. After we got the heater turned up, we slept well and we showered and took off right away in the am. We would stay again. :)”

“Everything was fine until I found out I had a double charge, I was charged for two rooms. The desk clerk that I spoke to over the phone was so rude and brushed me off. I emailed Expedia and waiting for a response. Place was not clean beds felt sandy like they did not change the covers.. We did not sleep good at all loud neighbors passed midnight . Horrible experience ”

“Original opinion was clean, but minimalistic. Then started noticing, smoke alarm missing, toilet seat had broken hinge. Overhead light in "office area" didn't work. Plug in bathroom didn't work. Had to unplug a lamp to plug in the computer. Person there when we checked in took 1/2 to check us in. Otherwise staff only present after 3PM. Spilled ice in bathroom, and when I tried to clean up, found the floor was filthy in corners and around toilet.”
