Braddon House - The Gracious Lady

Braddon House è una struttura recentemente rinnovata, 3 camere da letto, 1 bagno con spa, lampade di calore e una rampa riscaldata. Include una grande cucina familiare, un salotto e un'area barbecue. Il cortile ha molto spazio per far giocare i bambini.

A soli 200 metri dalla pittoresca cittadina di Penguin, con i suoi bar, i negozi e il mercato domenicale e, naturalmente, il nostro Big Penguin che sorveglia tutti coloro che arrivano.

Il mare e la spiaggia sono un confine della strada principale di Penguin e molti sono stati abbastanza fortunati da avere uno scorcio di delfini e balene che giocano appena al largo, ma se la sabbia non fa per te, immergiti nell'energia positiva di essere vicino a l'oceano, o dirigiti verso delle passeggiate rigeneranti con la natura nel raggio di 10 minuti in auto.

Soggiornare in Penguin è fondamentale per tutti i luoghi affascinanti e incredibilmente belli da vedere sulla costa nord-occidentale.

Le gite di un giorno sono facilmente raggiungibili in auto con Launceston, Cradle Mountain, Stanley (The Nut) e Tarkine Wilderness a circa 1 ora e mezza di distanza.
Guidando per vedere il muro nel ponte di Derwent, 2 1/2 ore.
A soli 30 minuti di auto da Burnie o Devonport, dagli aeroporti o da The Spirit of Tasmania.

We stayed here over the Christmas holidays with our children, the property was immaculate with everything provided including Christmas decorations. Large backyard for the kids to run and a beautiful spa for the adults (and the kids!) to relax in. Walking distance to beautiful Penguin and when we did have a minor issue with the gas and the hot water, owners were easy to contact and very helpful - would definitely stay again and recommend!

Well, what a wonderful place. It looked great on the website but when we arrived it is sooo much lovelier. The kitchen is huge and a delight to cook and eat in, a real hub of the home. The main bedroom spacious, a lovely comfy bed, and sitting room off it that leads to the deck that was sun filled in the day. Lounge really comfy too. Nice deck, great and large garden. Huge bathroom with spa bath, and a laundry area. Washing liquid, tea coffee eggs bread cereals milk all provided and lots of spices oil etc too. Loved the hook up to the speakers in the kitchen. We’ve been HomeAway and Airbnbing for 5 years as our daughter moved first to New Zealand and now Australia, and this is one of our three top houses it’s so perfect.

Our family had a wonderful time here. The kitchen is a highlight - such a warm inviting space plus it contains everything you could possibly need and more! The backyard was loved by our kids, and it’s only a block from the centre of town and the beach. We would definitely stay here again! A particular highlight was the communication from the owner Julie. There was a minor fire alarm malfunction during our stay. It was a Sunday at Chrtistmastime, but that was no obstacle to Julie, she arranged an electrician to fix it immediately and even sent a box of chocolates over! She really went the extra mile to make our stay fabulous. Highly recommended!

We absolutely loved this property. It was clean, centrally located, and had everything that we could wish for in a home away from home. The owners paid attention to detail, which we truly appreciated, especially since we didn't arrive off the Spirit of Tasmania until quite late on Christmas Eve. There was a decorated Christmas tree waiting for us, milk, bread and cereal, and other little bits and pieces that showed significant thought. The house remained lovely and cool in the warm weather. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The check-in process was so easy, and the owners were available to answer questions as needed. Thank you, so very much for sharing your home. We would love to come back!

We had a lovely stay at Braddon House. 3 nights wasn’t enough. Everything - from super-cosy beds to a fully-equipped kitchen - was just what we needed for a mini escape. Julie was a fabulous host and we can’t wait to stay again

Braddon House was all that it promised to be and host, Julie, went out of her way to ensure our stay was perfect. The house was lovely, clean and warm. Lots of little extras were provided to add to our experience. We have already recommended the house to friends.

Absolutely first class. From the handy hints before arrival to the welcoming lights and heater switched on we were off to a great start to our holiday. The decor was pleasant, the beds were comfy and the main street just a short stroll away, everything we needed was provided. The "Gracious Lady "really had a homely feel about it, we could all imagine living right there. We will be back for sure.
