Mövenpick Resort Sharm El Sheik Naama Bay
8/10 Buono
"Not great for a five star, especially when it comes to service. The place looks good overall, the buffet is fairly varied and also can’t complain about the à la carte restaurants - I think the food was the best part. The service however…some serious work is needed on that. No water or any food in the mini fridge despite a menu and receptionists saying there would be something. It was never restocked despite our requests. In-room phone not working (but fixed after a few requests); room service took AGES (like, honestly just go to the buffet, or you might just wait for ever); reception was super slow with anything (and not particularly busy, when we checked in it took ages cause the guy in front of us was on TikTok on his phone 😅)…and it’s quite hard to relax on their beaches. They have sellers trying to convince you to go on local trips. Even if you already booked (which we did on day 1), we were constantly poked and woken up while sleeping on the beach or simply relaxing by sellers competing with each other and trying to get us on a trip at all costs. They were doing it with everyone at the beach from what I could see. Not relaxing AT ALL. After a couple of days of this we started just avoiding the beach and pools because we were approached on average twice per hour. Sometimes twice on the same day by the same seller. Mövenpick should do something about this."
