“Stayed with grandchildren in a great room. Staff extremely knowledgeable and accomodating. I did not like the breakfast dining experience. No back ground music the food was not great and you coukd hear a pin drop. No one talking at tables it felt awkward. Otherwise a great stay. I will stay again it was very pricey but location is why ”

“Fantastic hotel which has clearly had a lot of work done in recent times. I was greeted warmly by Ricky and checked in to Room 2, which was massive - and simply perfect for my (5 stone) greyhound, as he had space to move. The Royal Marine is one of 2 dog friendly hotels in the area, and as you can see, His Lordship was made ever so welcome and he slept like a log, as did I! “We stayed only one night therefore my opinion can be partial. The building is old and some parts should probably be renewed (elevator first!) but well kept in general. The room rather small but clean. WiFi is probably underdimensioned as I could not connect despite of the good signal, fortunately personel (all very kind) provided an alternative network.
