Views of the coastline from the outdoor air bath and east access to the beach for swimming and surfing were a highlight. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were great value and included local fish, lobster and abalone.”

“We had a wonderful stay at Yukairou Kikuya last week! The property is gorgeous and the private onsen in our room was wonderful and much appreciated after a long stay in Japan with much walking! We really enjoyed the town of Izu - Shizouka with its quaint feel, the lovely temple, bamboo forest and the beautiful river running through the town. It was such a lovely break from all the large city stays we had and my husband and I have already discussed returning without our tenn children as it is...
