Good location with excellent views. Really helpful staff providing great service and lovely food. Overall a positive stay.

Steak Night
Lovely little place to stay. I caught it on a Tuesday night which is steak night and the ribeye steak was beautiful and the price was as well. It really is a nice place, if there was one thing against it for a business stay as mine was then it was a band playing until 11.00pm but it is a pub and these things happen, just a bit tiring for driving the next day. Apart from that it really was great.

Gem of a hotel in a great location.
Absolutely brilliant place to stay. Very conveniently located on the North Wales Expressway and with easy access to a gorgeous strand and the coastal path. Gavin and Steven were wonderful hosts and I am looking forward to a return visit.

Overall our stay was nice, but we chose the property partially because there was a pub, which was not open for the days we were there. And there is something wrong with the hot water source: in a shower the water would quickly drift from scalding hot to very cold unpredictability, which made showers a misery.

We stayed this weekend for two nights. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. The food, room, cleanliness and view of the sea under Storm Arwen was exceptional. Will stay here again.

The staff were very helpful, we had to be up early next day & would miss breakfast so they arranged cereal to be brought to our room early morning. They had to close kitchen on the night so we couldn’t eat there but the helpful lady arranged for us to eat at the local pub(which was lovely) As for the cost of the room for 1 night £130 was very over priced Just a twin room with stains on the carpet, windows dirty view looking on to roof also bathroom was not very clean. Towel rack full of dust & hairs in shower! Weeds & over growth outside entrance to building with plastic bags on floor, very tired looking in need of some attention.

Staying at the hotel very comfortable. Nice atmosphere clean rooms very nice staff. Nice and friendly owner. In front of the hotel you can see a beautiful view of the sea, and on the other side a view of the mountains. Very tasty breakfast, we did not have the opportunity to try the kitchen because the cook had a holiday, but I think that the dinners would also be tasty .

Great service 👏
The hotel is well located and the staff are very friendly. During our stay the hotel kitchen had an extractor fan problem which meant they couldn't serve an evening meal. The staff were so good they even popped out for us and picked up a takeaway which we were able to eat in their restaurant.

They young ladies got our breakfast wrong. But the rooms were clean, spacious for the cost.

Excellent friendly welcome, rooms clean and spacious with a very nice sea view. En-suite large, modern and spotlessly clean. Unfortunately on arrival we where informed the kitchen was not cooking due to an issue with the extractor fan, on a Saturday night this ment nowhere locally had tables available so we had to bring a takeaway in. Although we where still given a table and cutlery etc so it wasn't that bad. Overall a lovely place to stay

Very warm, friendly and helpful staff. This is a family run business and it showed. One morning we wished to have a breakfast one hour earlier earlier than normal. One of the staff specifically helped getting it ready for us. The hotel is at an excellent location for the historical sites, beaches in North Wales and also easy access to the Snowdonia National Park.

There us nothing to dislike. The staff a friendly and helpful. Breakfast choice qas excellent and well prepared and served. Once they get evening food up and runming it will be an excellent venue

Clean, comfortable and friendly staff
Hotel has recently changed hands and new owner has refurbished and redecorated. Rooms were very clean, comfortable and room 6 was very quiet despite live music in the bar. We were disappointed that we couldn’t dine in the evening due to an event but breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful in directing us to local eateries and very helpful overall.

Not for Business Travelers!
Not ideal for business travelers as breakfast did not start to 8am. It was disappointing that the kitchen was out of action as good food was difficult to find nearby. Given the excuse that the extractor fan was out of order which I thought was pretty feeble and easy to fix really. Struggled to check out because none of the staff on site could work the computer.

The staff at the Gladstone were absolutely lovely. The room was clean, the food was incredible. We stayed in the twin room with partial sea and partial mountain view and the views definitely did not disappoint! Already looking at staying there again!

Reay friendly staff. The breakfast was great, both the full english or the pain au chocolat and croissants. Very nice sunsets from the room's window.

Fantastic welcome, excellent service, loved it!
What incredible service from Gavin and Steve! So welcoming and helpful. Their kitchen is currently closed for evening meals so Gav recommended a wonderful chip shop for fish and chips in the beer garden. Cutlery provided and he even shared ketchup from their own private stash! Breakfast was fantastic and just what we needed before our trek around the castle walls. The exterior of the Gladstone is a little tired but please don't be put off. Inside is beautiful, clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend that you do too! Make sure you give Rolo a stroke as well, he delivers a warm welcome.
