“My wife and I used to live down the street. We never knew how nice the lodge is and how amazing the restaurant is. Honestly we would have gone there to eat all the time if would have even known it was there. It is the best restaurant in the area by far. Their omelettes are big and very flavorful, but the burger was probably the best burger I have had in a very long time. My wife loved the chicken pimento cheese egg rolls. “Overall great time. Lovely home, very spacious. Hot tub worked, access to river was easy. Fire pit is huge. Enough chairs for everybody, and we had a group of 12. Found clean but definitely needs a deep cleaning, the ceiling, under beds and couches, bathroom extractors and the washing machine smelled of mold. Maybe an update of AC units, we did feel hot during the day.Will vrbo in the future with this property. ”

The restaurant was great and highly recommend. The staff was very pleasant. Our only issue was the driveway being barely enough room for two way traffic. But we will definitely be staying again.”
