The location of the home was not ideal, as the neighborhood was dirty and not very welcoming or safe. There was a dirty old mattress in the front yard, and a driveway to a separate property that was also a rental behind this one, which created some parking troubles with the other tenant due to a lack of communication from the host. The other tenant left a nasty note and was rather cold during our overlapping time. Inside the home, we were met with dirty, sagging floors, a moldy washer-dryer unit, one used roll of paper towels, one unused roll of toilet paper, several partial rolls of used toilet paper, and a broken small sofa. The beds were less than comfortable, creaking with any movement, and one of them sagged in the center due to a lack of support on the frame. At one point in the stay, we found a roach. The floors were dirty and left marks on our feet and socks. The kitchen was overall was clean; however, it had dirty and old cooking utensils, pots, pans, the like. For the price we paid and on such short notice, it worked great for our needs, especially for a quick last-minute spring break trip.
