“Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. ”

“Very close car 10 mins) to Tunbridge Wells centre or A21/Tonbridge. Free parking. Good bistro/ bar, gym, nice quiet grounds. Super staff. Have stayed several times and everything in the room always works and everything is well maintained throughout. It’s not comparable to somewhere like Hotel du Vin /The Spa Hotel but neither is the price. A relaxing, enjoyable stopover.”

“We loved our stay at the Bear. If you’re a Pooh Bear admirer, it’s an absolute must! Cute and cozy rooms with Hundreds-Acre Wood wallpaper and tastefully themed decor. A five minute (if even) walk to Pooh Corner and an easy walk to the Pooh Sticks bridge and other Ashdown Forest spots. Reliable parking in their lot, which is a big plus if you’ll be travelling by car. Great food and drinks at the pub as a bonus! Would absolutely recommend!”

“Shower curtain was disgusting No bodywash in the dispenser in the shower, front desk said they didn't have any more. Pillows had hairs on them. ”

“We stayed for one night and were impressed by how well kept the hotel is following its refurbishment a few years ago. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed some time in the bar and had dinner in the restaurant, where the menu offered plenty of choice and the food was very good. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with options to suit all tastes.
