There was absolutely NOTHING to like about this property aside from the location.
Check in was at 4pm. We arrived at 3:50pm and we had to wait for them to “clean the room”.
Room was ready at 4:30pm. Not that big of a deal normally but the room was disgusting and filthy. Toilets were still dirty from the previous stay.
Floors throughout hadn’t been washed in god knows how long.
Fridge was dirty and had items in it from the previous stay.
Cobwebs on the entry way and in corners of the room.
It was an EXTREMELY hot day upon arrival and the AC was off. The room was sweltering. We have 3 year old twins and it took HOURS to cool the room as the AC unit (also filthy and full of dust and grime in the vents) hardly worked. Our kids normally go to bed by 8pm and it was well after 10 before the room was cool enough to sleep.
The beds were extremely uncomfortable and mattresses looked decades old.
I realize this is an older property and 5 star expectations are totally unrealistic but just because a property is old does not mean that it cannot be well kept and clean. The ownership and management here should be ashamed.
