- Offering sweet and cosy accommodation for two guests, this snug retreat has been stylishly arranged to make a great holiday home for sightseers, hikers, and history buffs eager to discover the sheltered coves, beaches, and ancient landmarks of West Cornwall. The property lies in the cheerful village of Pendeen, roughly a mile from the coast, with Portheras Cove, Pendeen Lighthouse, Boscaswell Cliffs, and The Avarack Pools all within 2 miles. The immediate area has a wealth of attractions and reminders of the local heritage, including the Geevor Tin Mine Museum, Portheras Barrow, Botallack Mine, and the Tregeseal Stone Circle (all within 3 miles). Exploring the region further, the vibrant town of Penzance, artsy St Ives, Land’s End, and Marazion – home to St Michael’s Mount – are all within 12.5 miles.
Entering this fresh and inviting holiday bolthole, you will be greeted by a light and spacious open-plan living space. Combining a well-appointed kitchen with a cute dining area and lounge, this characterful social space features exposed stone walls and plenty of natural light pouring through the skylights. Unwind in the lounge after a day of Cornish adventure; sink into the plush seating and find your favourite series on the Smart TV. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed for a self-catered stay, and you can enjoy each meal at the small wooden dining table inside or alfresco out on the patio. At the end of each day, retire to the rustic double bedroom and start the next morning with a refreshing soak in the shower room.
Stepping outside, the sunny courtyard-style patio sits in the shade of an original stone archway, offering a quiet spot to enjoy morning coffees and evening tipples. Heading through the arch, a sweet garden provides additional seating, including a charming egg chair. There is ample off-road parking, too.
