“The grounds and the view are great, the cabin has been partially restored. It was a very rustic kitchen set-up, but we made it work. Only real problem were ants. They could find a single grain of sugar anywhere.We named the rooster that hangs around there Hei-Hei. We also had the gecko brothers who kept sneaking into kitchen.The pond has toads in it and they sing at night, counted 6 one night. “The Outrigger was perfect for our stay. It was just 2 blocks from Bayfront soccer fields so it made it very easy for us to get to and form the field for the Volcano Soccer Tournament. The home was very clean and offered a lot of amenities (Beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, air conditioning, large washer and dryer).The host was very easy to communicate with and was very responsive. Would highly recommend this place.”

“This was our second time this year staying at this beautiful, warm, welcoming, and quiet home attending Hilo events, as we live in Kona. We returned because we love it so much and it accommodates my family and elderly mother. Love the AC in each room and lots of seating in the living, dining rooms and on the balcony.
