Review for stay from 15 October 2015 to 22 October 2015

This is a beautiful apartment. It is partly underground and quite rustic...it is a typical Tuscan home in a small village in the town square within 1 minute walk to the baker, butcher, grocer, coffee shop & restaurant. The property owner's caring attitude and concern for the enjoyment of our holiday made a significant difference in out stay.

Review for stay from 27 March 2015 to 04 April 2015

The accommodation was excellent and suited our purposes well. Even taking the age of the property into account the apartment was very clean. As we were there in March it could be cool but the heating was efficient and it warmed quickly. The welcome and tour of the village was great and the location of the apartment makes you feel of the village very quickly. We recommend the "Solo Bar" next to the church for coffee ( they will do takeaway). We would happily stay again.

We loved La Miccia. It's located in a quaint hilltop village where you have a baker, a butcher, a dry goods shop, a small grocer, two bars, and a restaurant. The place itself is spacious for a couple - especially with its two two bathrooms. The owners are wonderful and warm people who make sure to spend the time it takes to get you acquainted with the area. The location is ideal for exploration of the Tuscany region. Couldn't be more charming. Two thumbs way up.

A great location in the Roman fundaments of a tower. No airco was neede although it was 30 degrees outside. A spacious place with two bathrooms and a jacuzzi in one of the bedrooms. A friendly small town. The owners are not living nearby but the whole process went very smooth. Can recommend.

Very good value for the price. Special apartment, 1m wide stone walls, cannot get hot even during summer. Spacious, 2 bathrooms. The jacuzzi is cleaned after each rent, and kept hygenic. Keep in mind that it's partly sous-terrain! When there's no Sun, it's darkish. Only 2 stoves in the kitchen, so no big cooking. You'll find basic ingredients in the kitchen, left by previous renters. Small shops, cafeteria, restaurant and pharmacy are within 2 minutes walking distance. Neighbours can be noisy in the evenings - get used to the italian lifestyle! :-)
