Over 100' sandy beach shared with only one cottage next door (see VRBO 9961122). Lake really is clear and clean, fantastic for swimming, canoeing and kayaking. Great place to swim, hike and sing songs around the fire! Canoe and kayak available for your enjoyment.

Great resort town of Huntsville only 20 minutes away. There are several golf courses in the area including Huntsville Downs. Our favourite Provincial Park is just minutes away - Arrowhead Park, with lovely walks to the small falls and so many great hiking trails! Algonquin Park is close enough to enjoy day tours, you can rent a canoe there and picnic among the trees made famous by the Group of Seven. For a night-on-the-town with dinner and entertainment, Deerhurst Inn and good restaurants are within 1/2 hour of the cottage. There is an excellent Tourist Info Centre about 4km north of Novar on Hwy #11 with helpful staff and lots of brochures detailing interesting places to go as well as upcoming events in and around the area.
