“My family stayed here for a week-long vacation. the home and car made it feel like our second home! The house was very well stocked with kitchen, linens, and laundry essentials. The location was actually really nice to be out of the business of town and not a far drive at all. Staff were very courteous and accommodating, even as they were at work during a Cat 5 instead of at home with their families. Parts of the island flooded and were without power, but the Emerald Beach Resort had a generator and felt very safe. The host kept turning the AC off when we left so it got hot in the room and it took awhile for it to cool off. The tv didn’t work that was in the room and it was very frustrating mainly due to not having a hot shower. The property is very pretty otherwise. ”
