“I had no idea Caseville was such a Margaritaville town!! So much fun! Good food, really neat and unique shops, and great sunsets! I loved my stay in Caseville, and Sunset Shanty was a great place to call home for a few days. Very comfortable, all the amenities, fun decor, very clean, convenient location. My friend and I had a very nice, and fun, stay!!”

“We have friends that stay in the Caseville County park, so we always plan a weekend trip to meet up and catch up. Not only was this home perfectly located for our needs (near to beach, putt putt, dining), but it was so unique and beautiful. Everything was a described in the listing, but better in person. Plus you can see it is being renovated to add even more space to the basement, it will be exciting to see when we come back again next year, because we definitely plan to stay here again....

“The location of this home as well as the home itself is more than perfect for enjoying Port Austin and the surrounding area. The host just needs to be a bit more aware of securing her personal belongings so the home is more "welcoming" to those renting it for their vacation. Overall, though, it was a great weekend.”

“We stayed here to run the Thumb Coast Ultra and Relay. It was comfortable, clean, and the location was excellent. The pictures don’t do it justice! Checking in and out couldn’t have been easier. You’re minutes from Caseville (gas, groceries, restaurants), right on the beach. The beds were comfortable, the furniture in the sitting areas was great (which is not often my experience at other rentals). The shot was communicative and helpful. “The house was perfect for our fishing trip.Close to multiple boat launches. We had 2 trucks with 18' boats and we fit perfectly in the driveway. There is a restaurant/bar with live music down the street. We will definitely be back.”

“We loved the location and the rental property. The cabin had everything we needed. Our only complaint was it didn't have comfortable seating inside. We're 64 & 65 years old and would have preferred recliner chairs or another couch so we could both lay down and stretch out at the end of a long day of shopping, hiking and kayaking. We had beautiful weather our entire stay. Thank you so much!!”

“I so badly want to give this place 5 stars as Ross is an excellent host. Any concerns we had were addressed immediately and he even left a dinner with friends to come open the place for me as my bone headed self lost the key. The location is great. Right on the water with a sunset view. Plenty of beach to get your tan on. Water is shallow for at least 100 yards out from shore. You can hear the waves lapping the shore as you relax around the fire pit or chill out in the house. Beds and furniture...
