Hotel a Pilar

“The resort is located in a very peaceful and serene side of the coast. The room was large and very nicely decorated. I loved the bathroom which also had a separate bathtub. The staff is wonderful and the restaurant serves delicious meals. Kudos to the chef. I ate their ceviche and it was delicious. Definitely recommend this place if you want to unwind, especially with your spouse or girlfriend.”

“Excellent location, it’s a hidden gem, the small beach is easily accessible and feels so private. Perfect place to do yoga and meditation viewing the vast ocean view. Owner is so friendly and provided helpful inputs to access the location. Staffs are the best I have ever seen. Being a vegetarian, they were flexible to cook food for my choice. Property is well maintained and the pool is regularly cleaned. I would come back here again!!”

“My only complaint is that there was a party on the second floor that migrated to the third. My friend had to go out in the hall and ask the partiers to keep it quiet. When we checked out, I told the manager about it. She was understanding but noted that that other group had a reservation, too. I reminded the manager that other guests have to respect their neighbors who may be trying to sleep. She said that she would make a not of it. “Staff was great. Issues are Dirty bathroom, Toilet does not flush, Loss of runing water, Loss of wifi, Construction noise thru out the morning and night. Will not visit again or refer anyone to visit.”

“I didn’t like space for the toilet seat as it was tiny and I need space for my legs to be comfortably seated while I clean myself. The water pressure of the shower wasn’t normal. It felt like a trickle and it took so long for me to rinse off. Sleeping on the bed was not the best experience because I was scratching my leg area the whole night. I couldn’t be sure if it was caused by dust or insects.”

“The room was clean, staff was friendly. Warm water during afternoon air-conditioning was great. The hotel is directly on the beach nice and quiet. I'd recommend bringing small children since the ocean isn't very deep a giant flat without sea urchins or grass. ”
