The front desk wasn't so useful if you needed help with transportation or local activities, and there were issues finding the hotel location with GPS and local ride services (there is a sign on the main road but the actual hotel is a ways back on a side road).”

“The Pride is my regular hotel in Pune. I’m practically a regular and it’s a second home to me. Room service, laundry, air conditioning, two restaurants on site, pool, spa - all make it worth it. I prefer to have family visit me there than to drive around Pune when jet lagged. It’s also centrally located especially if you want to see the Old City.”

“As a former Pune native, this is my go-to place to stay when I visit. It is centrally located, especially close to Old City - the Peths, Deccan and so on. The amenities are lovely. It is a quiet oasis in the middle of a noisy and crowded city. The two restaurants, in-house spa, pool, and incredible front desk and concierge services make it all wonderful. My extended family usually stays with me at the hotel.”

“The hotel is very tired and requires an upgrade, evident with the wear and tear on room doors, the wall coverings on the levels where the rooms were and the carpets. The rooms, the lobby and the cafe were all presentable. The cafe staff were extremely welcoming but we did have to do without coffee a few mornings as the machine had broken. Also frustrating was the fact that we had to return several times to reception to activate the room access cards as they did not work on arrival at the room....
