“We enjoyed our 5 night stay. The unit was clean and comfortable. As others may have mentioned, there is some noise from the nearby train track and bars, but that didn’t bother us much. We really appreciated the noise cancelling machine that was provided. One suggestion for improvement would be to make it explicit to guests that the backyard (incl. grill & hot tub) are shared between the upstairs and downstairs units. “This house was a little piece of heaven tucked away on the Esopus Creek. The house provided 2 paddleboards and 2 kayaks, all of which we used.At first glance, the creek is not very inviting because of the algae, but when you get to the middle of the creek, it is very clear.There is also a hot tub, ping pong table and lots of games.The house was nicely decorated and plenty of room for 10 of us. “We stayed at this Vrbo on a cold winter day. Out our window was a beautiful sight: a snow laden forest with a winding brook. The bed was firm, the way we like it, and the heating system was noiseless keeping us toasty all night. There were cooking utensils, a small fridge, an induction hot plate, a microwave and a toaster which was all we needed for our cooking needs. When we arrived after a long drive I made myself a hot tea and relaxed on the big comfortable couch.I highly recommend this...
