Cottage a Pineville

“We enjoyed our stay but was not expecting to have two pending charges and then an actual charge for our room so the pending stayed on my checking account for four days.”

“Its a small apartment. The base boards look like they were cleaned with muddy water, the shower is heavily stained. Its in a terrible neighborhood. Bullet holes in the post right outside the front door!”

“The host was very responsive and the home was nice and clean. ”

“This rental was as represented if you are expecting the Four Seasons or even the hotel experience this is not it. However, if you want a VERY comfortable bed which is often a problem for me this location will not disappoint. I travel to this area to care for my father often and I typically stay at the Holiday Inn in Pineville. However, I wanted more options, to save money, have more room, be able to cook my own meals, and park close to my room. This VRBO checked all those boxes. Now the...

“Enjoyed our stay! I liked that there was an alarm. We came in late at night, the area looked a little sketchy at night, had a better view in the daytime, all was good. The location is close to all the stores you could possibly need. The water pressure was less than stellar, especially if you have thick curly hair, lol. The beds were comfortable, but some of the sheets had stains. Over all a pleasant stay, I would stay again. Thank you!!”

“This home was beyond filthy with stained sheets, stained shower, maggots , mildew and mold. The smell inside could possibly be interior mold. We didnt even stay after seeing it upon check in. The owner refused to refund our money and stopped responding to my messages and claimed he was working with VRBO but has kept ALL of our funds. We work with the local military base and were there for work but this place is beyond anything i have ever seen. If i could post pictures i would.”

“Do not fall for this. It’s a dangerous high crime area. These people would not help me after I told them we felt uncomfortable and unsafe in this home. Furthermore, they started ignoring me after I had tried to explain I needed to try to get a refund. I honestly do not trust vRBO any longer because they allowed this place on their listing. And side note, we never stayed in this house, we found another place to stay. They have 2 pending deposits and I really hope that they fall off because if...

“Light in bathroom needs fixing. One bulb blinks. Bedside table lamp was hard to turn on. Alarm clock was not able to change time. Broken tiles in bathroom.”

“Our room was very clean. Shower was great and had lots of hot water. Staff was very nice. The only thing that could be improved was the breakfast. It was ok but it would have been better with some eggs sausage, and cereal and milk. 😊”

“Pool not heated ,breakfast was HORRIBLE, plus they over charged me for 2 nights and the jacuzzi tub doesn't work properly. Then the receptionist at Desk was not to nice, she didn't know what she was doing, the room was stale smoke smell, bed was uncomfortable and tub was yellow, could bath in it, I stayed here the last 3 years when we came to Alexandria and this is the 1st time I was disappointed, we will be going over to Pineville Conference center and hotel, great service with then earlier this...

“The service of management as well as Housekeeping staff was superb.”
