“Premises would be best described as Runmere MOTEL. The accommodation block is detatched and across the car park from main reception area. OK if you like US style Motel accommodation, I personally din't and would not have booked if I had been aware of this. Rooms are very basic, but adequate. “Victoria Lodge is a fantastic place to stay...the location in the middle of Stockton Heath couldn't be more convenient for numerous pubs, restaurants, a variety of shops, Alexander Park and Walton Gardens. There are all kinds of opportunities for walks nearby (public footpaths through the Cheshire countryside, the tow path of the Bridgewater Canal and the Trans Pennine Way). “Good welcome on a Sunday evening. Room was warm and well appointed. Bathroom was okay but the bath silicone sealing could do with being replaced and a toilet paper holder would be good as well. These are only minor things and overall the visit was excellent and we had an excellent breakfast next morning”
