“We loved our stay at the Borgo - very central to the main cities to visit like Lucca and Pisa. Comfortable bed, air con was a plus, it became a home from home for us for 6 days. Nice to have a pool to chill around as well.”

“We loved the house but it’s not for anyone with even slightly impaired walking, balance, or ability to climb stairs. The house is very old, but updated wonderfully. However we never saw any pool. I would definitely return to this house.”

“Das schöne Ferienhaus liegt ruhig und einsam in den Bergen der Toskana. Wir waren mit mehreren Familien dort und die Lage erlaubte es, auch abends draußen sitzen zu können ohne jemanden zu stören. Es gab mehrere Sitzgruppen im Freien und es war möglich an einer großen Sitzreihe gemeinsam zu essen. Dies ging auch im Haus sehr gut. Der Pool war toll! “Beginnend von der freundlichen Begrüßung durch Davide , der Vermieter, haben er und sein Vater uns mit Tipps und bei Fragen super betreut. Wir waren als Familie ( 11 Personen) im Haus und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Haben gleich für nächstes Jahr gebucht. Nochmals vielen Dank an Davide und seinen Vater.”

“We stayed one week in summer 2017 in Dora an Sergio's most beautiful site. We felt most comfortable there. The house is located quite high up the mountains near Pistoia. Do not loose patience when passing the small streets through Torbecchia and up towards San Vito. You will have been sent excellent directions to find the place, just follow them! You will arrive at very large premises with lawn, oil trees, wine and some more nice trees and bushes and most likely at first be welcomed by Gipsy...

La casa dove abbiamo soggiornato in 5 è strutturata su due piani con le camere al piano superiore, dove c'è anche un magnifico terrazzo coperto (dove si vedono dei bellissimi tramonti). Lorena, la proprietaria, è molto disponibile verso i suoi ospiti e trasmette l'amore che nutre per questo luogo. “Sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnung, zwei klimatisierte Schlafzimmer, klimatisiertes Wohnzimmer. Große, gemütliche Küche mit Zugang zum Garten. Sehr freundlicher Vermieter, der sich um alles gekümmert hat. Durch die Nähe zur Autobahn ein perfekter Standort für Touren an die Küste und in die Berge sowie nach Florenz. ”

“Staubedingt kamen wir zum Anreisetermin 1,5 Std. zu spät. Trotzdem sehr herzlicher Empfang und problemloser Empfang ! Besonders hervor zu heben : der sehr gut sprechende und äußerst nette "Hausmeister" der täglichen "Brötchenservice" etc. bot und sich um Poolpflege und Außenanlage kümmerte. Rundum ein wirklich tolles Feriendomizil mit beeindruckender Ruhe und Aussicht ! Wirklich einziges " Manko" sind die letzten 500m Zufahrt sehr steil auf schmaler Privatstrasse bis zum Haus. “We had a lovely couple of weeks at Jacopo’s house. The house has been beautifully restored and set in an olive grove and vineyards. The house is relatively remote but within easy 10mins drive to towns. A car is essential for a stay at this property. Jacopo was a great host and readily available if we needed him, and gave great tips and advice vice on places to visit. We would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. ”
