“We can’t say enough good things about our two night stay. Staff were so incredibly welcoming, kind and thoughtful. We had dinner the first night and wished we could have done the second too but had theatre tickets. Food was 5* both in flavour and presentation. We had the pleasure of meeting Ann the owner over dinner and the chef that evening , Charlie. Post dinner we sat by the fire where front of house immediately added more firewood. “Fishers Hotel is an old hotel but has some charm. Our room was nice and big. Lights flickered and dusty chandelier would be my only complaint. Cleaning crew left wine glasses that had been used the whole stay instead of replacing with clean ones. Overall a 4/5 stars. Super convenient hotel.”
