This was an interesting property. There is no path to the entry that does not create a fall risk. To get to the deteriorating concrete stairs that lead to the front door, you must step up over uneven concrete or a tree root system. The surroundings are very trashy. Garbage, concrete chunks, and roofing lay in or next to the path at the top of the stairs. Inside is a nice set up. It definitely needs some deep cleaning. Baseboards and walls are very dirty, the window blind in the room with a single bed is missing a square area, so it is easily seen into at night, this room also has a door that leads to the outside. It does lock. But our teen was not comfortable in there, so I (the parent) slept there while she slept in the master. The upstairs bathroom did not have a trash can, so we carried garbage down with us daily. There was also a very dirty rubber bath mat draped over the shower towel bar for use if one chose. Nice to have if needed but should have been washed. Many light bulbs burned out and the smoke detector beeped for several hours the last night we were there. The area is super close to the famous Oakmont bakery and cute little shops, a candle making company and great local restaurants. We are healthy and agile and had no small kids with us. So the undesirable entry was doable. It was fine for the few days we were there but we will not book again.
