Let's see, where do I begin! First, when we checked into our original condo, the aroma of a men's urinal was overwhelming! Two hours later, we finally where upgraded to a condo that met our criteria! It was my birthday weekend, so we decided to have dinner at the Rum Bay restaurant. Needless to say, that was a nightmare as well! Our server was rude, kurt, and had a personality of oh let's see, an oyster! Next, we went to the gift shop to restock our drinks for the next 24 hours, since we were checking out the following day and did not want to make a trip off the island to visit Publix. It was closed! The hours of operation stated clearly they were open until 6pm. It was 5:20pm. Then, it was check out day. I was phoned by the front office asking "are you still here, because check out was at 11am". My time was 11:33. Our washer in our condo was stuck on a cycle that would not allow us to stop that cycle, which we clearly made the office aware that we were simply waiting on that cycle to complete! The office then stated "I will send the bell hop now". Basically being "kicked out" of our condo! So the bell hop showed up at our condo, barely said hello, and never said anything else after the original "hello"! We went to the office, turned in our keys. When given a brochure for our "return visit", I informed them we would not be back. The only response we received was "I'm sorry". No effort was made whatsoever to assure our return. This island has been our haven for nearly 12 years due to the excellent customer service in the past. Clearly that is not the case this visit. I'm going to assume this company is under new management. The prior management would not have tolerated this behavior. Needless to say my family will not be returning to this resort. Sadly the management had no concern for the above issues other than to say "thank you for bringing that to my attention". Sadly my family has no desire to return!
