Hotel vicino a Plainmoor Stadium - Torquay

“Definire questo affittacamere un' hotel è piu' che un' azzardo. Camera piccolissima e bagno ancor più piccolo tanto che... Il lavabo era in camera. Per aprire l valige (trolley!) dovevamo fare i turni ed organizzarci negli spostamenti in camera. Zero ascensore, zero aria condizionata, zero frigo... solo due scalcagnati letti. Colazione meno che francescana. Zero parcheggio. Prezzo da Grand' hotel- E' stata una solenne fregatura.”

“We were met by our first names and instantly offered a cup of tea and cake! This personal,friendly theme ran throughout our short stay and made it a really lovely experience. The rooms were large and beautifully furnished with everything you could want and shiny clean. Breakfast was well organised with a time slot so we could again benefit from the personal touch from our super hosts. Excellent, freshly cooked large portions😀. Would happily stay here again and recommend to friends and family.”

“When we arrived, it was getting cold. The room was present but cold. There was no attempt to put the heating on untill a complaint was made. And there was no heat in the bathroom the next morning. I was charged an extra £20 for the room. Breakfast was average of poor quality.”

“This amazing hotel well surpassed our expectations. Beautifully modernised and equipped with quality fittings everywhere. Our stay coincided with some sunny hot weather so the outdoor pool, jacuzzi and bar facilities were in full use but still plenty of sun loungers and great service. New indoor pool and spa were simply fabulous, very clean, quiet and well maintained. “We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. The place is clean and well maintained and the host kindly provided some biscuits and milk. I would highly recommend this place.”

“We had a lovely 3 day stay here. Staff were brilliant, very welcoming and helpful . The Hotel had a lovely feel about it and our room was lovely with everything we could need. Everywhere was clean, breakfast was amazing. Really great stay and would highly recommend.”

“ Overall this nice little BnB is very good. The hostess is very friendly and helpful with local sights etc. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by a very uncomfortable mattress.There was a slant to the room which caused feet higher than head. Had to move around bedding and place cushions under mattress, but still could not sleep. The curtains were too thin, so at 530am the room was very bright. We booked for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to lack of sleep.”

“A place to be when you have kids and do not fancy to splash into the cold waters of the Riviera: the swimming pools at TLH are cool! And the one indoor is warm too. Conveniently located near the seafront, and lical gardens and Torre Abbey. Easy distance to churches, shops and restaurants. Food is ok but reasonably priced. Kids go free and we say Thank You. I appreciate the rooms NOT being serviced every day because guests must be responsible of keeping their space tidy anyway. The only 🚫🚫...

“We could not stay at This property . It was poor condition and the room we booked was not provided. It was hot , no ac and not even a fan was provided . The bed was shocking , The outdoor pool was closed and overgrown and mouldy . My wife has poor knees and could not have used the shower over bath. This hotel is a 2-3 star . We had staff revving motorcycles under our window and talked loudly.”
