“The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Very disappointed that the pool is closed and may take some time to reopen. The property is owned by the state so renovations are highly needed! The staff is great! The beach location is top-notch for that area. I would definitely go back again, but not until the pool reopens! did not try the restaurant. We were too late for breakfast! Very close vicinity to Gurnee Mills, shopping and antique centers! Looking forward to our next stay!”

“Dirty and moldy”

“The staff were so nice! The rooms and bathroom were so clean. The building is a little older but everything was in good shape. Free WiFi use and the air conditioner worked perfectly. The price was also fair. It was 90 dollars and a 50 dollar deposit fee but you get the 50 dollars back in your account after 5 days.”

“Good stay for the price. There is no elevator, so be prepared to walk up some stairs if you're not staying on the first floor. Our beds were some of the coziest I've slept in and the room and bathroom were very clean. Had a good experience overall as a one night stop off.”

“The shower don’t really work we have problems with the toilet. The front desk said that they would give us another room and then claimed they were full when the whole thing was basically empty. The walls are so thin you could hear your neighbors conversations. I obviously wouldn’t recommend anybody stay here unless you’re desperate and on a budget”

“Man at front desk was odd and did nothing but complain about his job during the process. Room was decently clean, however for this being an extended store there was no cutlery, cups, or pots and pans. Also no coffee machine in the room or in the lobby(even though there was a sign saying it was available) On check out day and worker knocked on our door at 9am saying he had to come in for his inspection. Very rude since we still had two hours unto checkout. Do no recommend”

“There was a used condom under the bed and hair all over the bathroom. The mini fridge was dirty and did not get cold”

“This place is a dumb! The picture advertised is NOT the same property. I checked out immediately and went to another hotel. The ceiling was cracked and peeling. Cigarettes burns in the chair and bed spread. Fridge was not cleaned. Holes in the curtains and walls”

“We were never able to check in. We arrived at the motel at 6:30pm. No one was available to check us in. There was a sign posted outside the office saying that check in was only from 3 to 4pm. We lost the money we had paid for the room, and had to find another hotel to stay in. A drug addict who was staying in one of the rooms was wandering around in the parking lot. He scared my wife.”

“The room was clean when we arrived but our only complaint was that the water pressure was extremely poor, making it difficult to shower.”

“The rooms was excellent, clean and ready. Friendly staff. Provided me with the information I needed for my son’s graduation.”
