“Staff was great. Property was not what we expected. Mattress on bed was not good at all, cabin had a strong odor and needed more thorough cleaning.”

“The shower head in room 4 barely spit out any water. The kitchen was closed which defeated the point of it being a bed and breakfast experience. The pool was also not working due to some pump issue which I was unaware of until I arrived. I was under the impression that there was a fully functioning, kitchen and fully working pool. when we got there, we waited about 20 minutes until somebody finally came to check us in after I had to go looking for help.”

“I would never tell anyone to stay at this old, run down place. No amenities in the room, room very small & old. Steps to building very dangerous. Room had a full bed, small round table, a chair & an old TV. Very old A/C unit. Bathroom so small you could hurt yourself in it. Din't even supply wash cloths. I woould rate it a 0 on a scale of 1 to 10. They should pay people to stay there, not the other way around. You are making a big mistake having them on your list of places to stay”

In my travel life I have never found such a nasty dirty and stinky structure, even the breakfast was obscene. I will never go back there anymore.”

“Lovely setting and history of the inn and golf course was interesting . Really came to golf and was not disappointed. Course was very well maintained and fun to play. Staff couldn’t have been nicer. Enjoyed the jazz on Tuesday outside and the brewery pizza was yummy. Our meal at the Inn’s restaurant was fabulous! I had trout and it was perfect. Calimari was best I ever had. New chef is very inventive. Only negative is there were ants in our room and the place needs a bit of paint here...

“Beds are comfortable but I asked for a non Smoking room and the room smells just like cigarettes. Also there was hair all over bathroom inside the bathtub and walls and curtains of the bathroom.”

“When we walked in, the top bedspread for one of the beds had blood stains. The carpet was fully stained, and so were the lampshades. The bathroom countertop was still dirty as well. Overall, one of the worst cleaned rooms I’ve stayed in at a Hampton Inn. There was also no body wash in the bathroom. However the worst part of the stay was that the whole room smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking property. Many of the reviews complained of the same, but the smell lingered all...

“Outside property and surrounding area was beautiful. Cottages look great from the outside however the one I stayed in needs an upgrade!(#50) The bedroom was fine(except for paint peeling on the ceiling) and the blinds and balance were outdated and fridge was noisy. The bathroom needs a serious upgrade! Toilet too low, mirror over sink to high, and tub didn’t drain. After two showers there was over a foot of standing water. Doors were not the most secure. I would have liked to have known...
